5 things to look for in a cosmetic tattoo artist before you book 👀

If you’re considering permanent makeup or cosmetic tattooing in Tucson, Arizona, don’t choose your artist based on pretty Instagram photos alone.

Here are 5 things I recommend looking for:

1. Experience with your specific service
Brows, lip blush, eyeliner, and other permanent makeup procedures require different techniques. Look for an artist who regularly performs the service you’re considering.

2. Healed results, not just fresh work
Fresh cosmetic tattoos can look dramatically different from healed results. Ask to see healed photos so you know what the work actually looks like after the skin has recovered.

3. Proper sanitation & safety practices 🧼
Your artist should be able to clearly explain their infection-control practices, single-use supplies, sterilization procedures, and how they protect you during your appointment.

4. An artist who evaluates YOUR face, skin & goals
