🎉 Triumph Tuesday 🎉

This week, we’re celebrating former SAAVI student Daniel, who returned to our Tucson center to speak with current students about his journey to becoming a successful real estate agent.

Daniel shared the dedication, persistence, and hard work it took to achieve his goal. He discussed the technology he uses every day to work independently, the blindness skills and training that helped prepare him for his career, and the challenges he overcame along the way.

Students had the opportunity to learn how the training and confidence-building skills gained through SAAVI can open doors to meaningful careers and greater independence. Daniel also talked about what he does now as a real estate agent, helping clients navigate the home buying and selling process while building a successful professional career.

Thank you, Daniel, for returning to inspire the next generation of SAAVI students. Your story is a powerful reminder that with determination, the right training, and a willingness to work hard, anything is possible.

Throwback Thursday đź›’
Today is shopping cart day. Check out some of our students using shopping carts in the past when shopping for groceries to buy cleaning supplies for their house, when shopping for their intermediate and final meals and just when going through the grocery store with friends. Just because your blind doesn’t mean you stop shopping or stop using shopping carts. If you are curious how to use a shopping cart as a blind person be sure to contact us for services.

🎉 Triumph Tuesday 🎉

Today we’re celebrating Chris and an incredible milestone at Saavi Services for the Blind!

As part of his training, Chris planned, prepared, and served his final meal to the entire Saavi community. From organizing ingredients to cooking and serving, he demonstrated the confidence, independence, and problem-solving skills that make this achievement so meaningful.

Congratulations, Chris, on all your hard work and dedication. Your success is a great reminder that it’s not what you can see—it’s what you can do!
