🎳 Throwback Thursday: US Bowling League Day or Team Building!
Throwing it back to the 2023 NFB Arizona State Conference, when the SAAVI Services for the Blind team traded in the conference rooms for bowling lanes! 🎳
After a long day, staff headed out for some late-night bowling, laughs, friendly competition, and a little team building. We may not be part of a U.S. bowling league—or even a bowling league in general—but for one night, it sure felt like we were! 😄
It was a great reminder that some of the best team-building moments happen when we step away from work, have some fun, and enjoy each other’s company.
Strike or gutter ball, we were all winners that night! 💙

Sorry we will not be traveling 🚗 to Windrow Rock today for the retreat that was originally scheduled for September 3rd to the 5th. We are unfortunately having to postpone it due to low attendance. Please look for updates and dates in the future and be sure to sign up when you see them. Hope to see the people in Window Rock in the future. Until then!

🌟 Triumph Tuesday! 🌟

Today we’re celebrating Jordan and a delicious accomplishment! 👏🍽️ As part of his final for Home Management, Jordan planned, prepared, and served his All SAAVI meal for students and staff.

From the kitchen to the serving line, Jordan put his skills into action and showed just how much hard work, confidence, and independence can come together in one meal. 💪👨‍🍳

Congratulations, Jordan, on completing your Home Management final! We’re proud of you—and we’re pretty sure everyone who enjoyed your meal is proud of you too! 🎉🙌
