In March, I turned 46! It’s incredible what this stage has brought me. What I had been working towards for several years, maybe even the last decade, is now surfacing. The awareness of self-love and, more importantly, self-acceptance has created a life I longed for. Removing myself from toxicity—food, people, places, and social media—gave me a freedom my nervous system desperately needed. Like that long-awaited breath where you feel space and deep rest and presence.
Integration with plant medicine, breath work, meditation, massage, contrast therapy, movement in the form of dance, and various forms of healing modalities put me in direct connection with myself, with my heart. If that sounds like a full-time job, it is. But it was that or a body full of cortisol, anger, uncontrolled hormones, resentment, judgment, and fear.
The beauty in the opportunity about this stage is the ability to embrace all parts of what makes life-life without being in fight or flight. Without the panic. Whilst the world’s vibration is in chaos, destruction, and low frequency, there’s a parallel of beauty, abundance (it’s all around you), and light.
My words are for encouragement. For an opportunity to be completely transparent, and maybe, just maybe, there’s someone reading this who won’t feel alone in their journey.
