Forest Bathing- Mt Lemmon

Forest Bathing- Mt Lemmon Forest Bathing is the practice of taking in nature through all of your senses. Promoting a sense wellbeing, connection, and relaxation.

Slowing way down, and through a series of exercises or invitations, taking in the forest in a whole new way. Hello, I'm Chris, I'm a trained Forest Bathing guide. I lead small groups through a series of exercises or invitations meant to slow us down, awaken our senses, and allow us to connect with nature in a whole new way.

Would you hug a tree? 🌳
For some that are new to this, there’s something about hugging a tree that feels a bit daft…

Until you actually do it.

Then you realise you’ve gone from rushing through the woodland to standing still for a moment, listening to the wind, feeling the bark beneath your hands, and remembering that the tree was here long before you arrived. You don’t have to believe the tree is talking to you.

Although, if you do hear something…

Best answer politely.

The old ways were never always complicated. Sometimes it was simply stopping, paying attention, showing respect, and remembering that we’re part of the woodland too.

So go on. Find a tree. Say hello.
And give the old thing a proper hug.
