What's the difference between fascia and muscle fibers?

My response in vid, with more detail in description here:

Fascia surrounds and organizes muscle at every level—not just on the outside.
What I’m demonstrating here are the different layers of fascia (connective tissue) that exist throughout muscle:
• Endomysium – fascia surrounding each individual muscle fiber
• Perimysium – fascia surrounding bundles of fibers (fascicles)
• Epimysium – fascia surrounding the entire muscle
These are all forms of fascia—just described with more specific anatomical terms based on their location and function.
In my work, I often refer to the inner layers (endomysium and perimysium) as “infrastructure fascia,” and the outer layer (epimysium) as “structural fascia,” to help simplify how they function together.
Muscle fibers themselves are responsible for contraction and force generation, while fascia provides structure, transmits force, allows for glide between layers, and contributes to overall mechanical support and protection.

Question 1:
Bunions, is it fascia related?
My response in vid, and science in description here:

Hallux valgus (bunion formation) involves progressive deviation at the first metatarsophalangeal (MTP) joint, often influenced by altered load distribution and dysfunction within the plantar fascia and intrinsic foot musculature. As tissue tension changes—particularly through the plantar fascia and stabilizing muscles of the first ray—normal joint mechanics can be disrupted, contributing to imbalance and reduced functional support.

According to Wolff’s Law, bone adapts to the mechanical stresses placed upon it. In the presence of chronic imbalance and altered loading, the body may deposit additional bone along areas of increased stress to improve structural support and stability.

When soft tissue function is improved—through restoring fascial mobility, length-tension relationships, and neuromuscular control—joint mechanics can normalize, reducing abnormal stress. Over time, the body has the capacity to remodel bone in response to these improved conditions, supporting more efficient alignment and function.

Okay! Part 2

Im moving into deep conversations where im asking for engagement.
😇I want to know your individual questions, no matter how many times you've asked them, no matter how silly you think they may be, even if your doc may have overlooked or dismissed your question or even already gave you an answer already.
Ask me, I want to challenge the typical narrative, and challenge you to discover something a bit different.

It’s been a while since I’ve posted on here 🙃

I’ve just been focused on my clients and the work.😎

But something has been on my mind lately.

After 20 years as a massage therapist, I’ve realized a big part of what’s made this work last is how the body is read and worked with in real time… not just following a routine.

It’s why so many of my clients stay long-term, and why the work actually builds instead of starting over every session.

I don’t talk about this much, but I’ve decided I’m ready to open the door and start training a small number of therapists in this approach.

Just 1–2 spots for now.

If you know someone in massage (or about to graduate) who’s serious about getting better at their craft and building something long-term, feel free to send them my way.

I’m selective, but open to the right fit.
Cheers!🤗
