Gorgeous cherry blossom season at UW with my boys!! 🌸🥰

We made a little pit stop while dropping off my oldest, Connor, back at the University of Washington after spring break. 💕
It was my first time seeing the cherry blossoms there in person and they were even more beautiful than I had imagined. 😍 Such a special moment to take it all in together. 🍒👀✨

As mentioned in yesterday’s post 👉 we moved forward with an ✨Artista Breast Reduction✨

During surgery🔪, I removed 16 inches of skin vertically and nearly 2 pounds of tissue, which is about the weight of a 1 liter water bottle💦!! Imagine the relief she now feels! 😅

📏 Over 12 inches of skin was removed vertically, and the total tissue removed was comparable to carrying around a 6 pound bowling ball!! 🎳 That's a lot of extra weight to have sitting on your midsection all day, every day. 😅

So, how does that affect your body over time? ⏰ Carrying that kind of weight on the front creates a constant forward pull ➡️ which makes your back and core work so much harder to keep you upright. This often leads to fatigue, changes in posture, and even low back pain. 😓

If you know me, you know I could never pass up opening night of The Devil Wears Prada 2. 😍 It is truly a dream for a fashion-loving plastic surgeon. 👗👠❣️

These are my gorgeous patient's results 3 months after her bilateral implant removal combined with a breast lift!! 🤩

I exchanged her 270cc implants for 220cc implants and removed excess breast tissue and loose skin - approximately half a pound was reduced from each side. ⚖️

In total, that is about 1 pound off the front of the chest, which is like finally setting down a 2 liter soda that she's been carrying around for years! 😅 You can imagine how much lighter and more comfortable she now feels!! 💓
