We hear this question a lot! Why home? Why not just go to the hospital? Well... there's a lot of reasons. But here's just a few (in no particular order 😉)...

1. You get to be comfortable in your own space. Which means laboring and birthing in any position you wish! Also...Who doesn't want to snuggle into their own bed after having their baby?!

2. You are not required to be hooked up to IV's and monitors for the entirety of your labor and birth.

3. You have free reign of the shower or tub. We know water can be a huge comfort measure for labor so this is a big one that isn't always available in the hospital.

4. You will receive a high level of care that also respects your autonomy and ability to make your own choices. We value creating an environment that makes you feel safe, secure, and cared for at all times.

(There are medical reasons that these things or homebirth may not be possible for some, please consult your provider if you have concerns)
