💜 Please Welcome Our Tulsa Metro Leadership Fellow 💜
Some leaders bring experience. Some bring influence. Some bring a deep understanding of the communities they serve. Dr. Francisca “Fran” Trujillo brings all three.
It is my distinct honor to welcome Francisca (Fran) Trujillo, DNP, FNP-BC, BC-ADM, as the Tulsa Metro Leadership Fellow for Ms. Corporate America Oklahoma. Dr. Trujillo is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Advanced Diabetes Management specialist with 30 years of healthcare experience, including more than 20 years dedicated to community health.
As an immigrant who personally experienced healthcare disparities, she turned those experiences into a lifelong commitment to improving access to quality, culturally responsive care for underserved populations.
A graduate of the University of Oklahoma and the University of Tulsa, Dr. Trujillo made history in 2019 as the first Latina and immigrant to graduate from the University of Tulsa’s Doctor of Nursing Practice program. Her doctoral research examined gaps in care and barriers to diabetes self-management among Hispanic patients with Type 2 diabetes.
Today, she is the Founder and Medical Director of Trujillo Multi-Healthcare, where she continues her commitment to equitable, community-centered healthcare.
Dr. Fran’s appointment reflects how intentionally we are building Ms. Corporate America Oklahoma—bringing women to the table whose leadership, relationships, professional expertise, and lived experiences allow us to reach communities across our state.
As our Tulsa Metro Leadership Fellow, Dr. Fran will cultivate community relationships, connect women to Ms. Corporate America Oklahoma, champion our mission, support statewide initiatives and events, and help expand our presence throughout the Tulsa Metro.
Her sphere of influence includes healthcare professionals, Hispanic and Latina leaders, women in medicine, healthcare entrepreneurs, community health advocates, immigrant professionals, and women committed to strengthening their communities.
Dr. Fran brings something invaluable to our leadership team: the ability to open doors, build bridges, and connect Ms. Corporate America Oklahoma with women and communities we want represented at the table.
