Outside Is My Favorite Place

If the weather is nice (also, what a wet summer we're having), we're probably outside. Working in the garden. Setting up for market. Watching the kids play. Walking around. Laying out in the heat of the day like a lizard at a sauna.

I keep a jar of lotion on my nightstand. Not because I have a complicated skincare routine. It's just one of those little habits that stuck.

One thing I love is that ours doesn't leave my hands feeling slick when I crawl into bed. It soaks in well, so I'm not wiping my hands on the sheets five minutes later. It's a small thing, but it matters.

The Rooted Willow will be taking a break from the farmers markets this weekend to celebrate 🇺🇲Independence Day🇺🇲 with our families.
