Continuing education is so important. Lactation education and science is always changing. Always make sure your IBCLC is leveling up so you are getting care that is evidenced based and current. Don’t be afraid to ask them how they stay current in the field. This course was an in depth look at food allergies and the immune system and will help me support parents as they navigate IgE and non-IgE food reactions alongside their care team. Allergies, FPIES and FPIAP can be really challenging!
