💚 NICU Awareness Month Spotlight: Meet Erica Gilbert, Respiratory Therapist 💚

Caring for our tiniest patients takes teamwork, skill and a lot of heart — and Erica Gilbert brings all three to the NICU every day.

Erica has been part of the Ascension St. John family for five years, working as a respiratory therapist and helping provide specialized care for some of our smallest and most vulnerable patients.

A graduate of Washburn University in Kansas, Erica knows a thing or two about teamwork. Before she was caring for babies, she was a Division II college volleyball athlete! 🏐

That competitive spirit, dedication and ability to work as a team now helps Erica support our NICU patients and the families who love them.
