The cable machine area has gotten a major upgrade over the last few months - new equipment, new lighting, new mirrors, fresh paint and a logo.

It’s perfecting lighting for when your pump is good and you need to document it with a selfie.

Also, big shout out to the people at Kaizen who always show up and help make things happen. The culture here is outstanding.

Procrastination is nothing more than delayed discomfort.

“I’ll go to the gym tomorrow.” “I’ll eat better starting Monday.” “I’ll start budgeting and saving next month.” “I’ll have that hard conversation later.”

It’s going to be difficult and uncomfortable regardless of the timing. It’s likely also causing life to be difficult and uncomfortable now - and your best case outcome is things don’t get better, worst case is procrastination makes it worse.

This applies to everything in life: your health, your finances, your relationships.

Do it NOW. Start today. This is the Kaizen way.

We can help with that!

We have dedicated glute machines like the hip thrust and glute kickback, multiple cable stations for all your favorite glute accessories, and the standard staples for building a strong backside: barbells, dumbbells, and kettlebells for any squat, lunge, or hinge variation you can think of.

Change is uncomfortable by nature. For some, change hasn’t historically been positive - change has been painful, hurtful, unpleasant. When that is the lens you view all change through, you limit your ability for growth and transformation.

Nothing stays the same forever. Change is inevitable.

New ways of seeing, showing up, and thinking are necessary to keep improving. Embrace change. Be proactive with it, not reactive, resistant or retroactive.

Believe it can be better. Believe change can be positive. This is the Kaizen way.

Yesterday Kaizen began our 7th year in business.

The gym has grown and evolved significantly in that time. We’ve more than doubled in size and equipment, and prices have never increased. That’s intentional.

The number of members has grown without ever feeling crowded, or diluting the culture here. That’s also intentional.

Growth in the right direction will only happen if you are INTENTIONAL.

This place is full of people working to better themselves and embracing discomfort. Growth requires both of those things - surrounding yourself with like-minded people and being willing to work hard.

Kaizen…a little better every day, in every way. Intentionally.

Culture: (noun) a shared set of beliefs, values, customs, or behaviors that define a group or society

Culture is a BIG DEAL at Kaizen.

What we’ve built is largely shaped by “old school weight room” culture - respect, hard work, discomfort as a path and means to transformation, and taking radical responsibility.

No one is coming to save you. No one can do it for you. The work will be hard and discomfort is guaranteed. Making excuses only guarantees you cannot change.

This applies in and out of the gym.

More improvements happening today in the upgraded cable machine area.

Your new favorite machines will be unavailable for a day or two while this is happening.

Take it as a tangible reminder that transformation takes time, it’s often messy in the middle, and it will require some flexibility and compromise along the way.

Thanks for your patience!

The new equipment is here - come in and find something to add to your training routines!! There are a few more exciting aesthetic changes coming - we aren’t quite finished yet, and we appreciate your patience in the mess and chaos.

Several members have asked for tutorials on some of the new pieces. Keep an eye out for those!
