Instead of making a quick, uninformed stop by the grocery store on your way to the lake or pool, make an informed choice and order your sunscreen ahead of time!

Most of the clean brands we mention offer a baby, kids, sport, adult, and face stick or lip balm SPF option as well!

9 times out of 10 sunscreen in the lotion form is better than an aerosol spray!

The skin is our biggest organ, absorbing 64% of what is applied into the bloodstream. It is also an impressive indicator of overall health.

Often rashes, eczema, psoriasis, acne and other skin conditions are caused by allergens, toxins, and stress, which can indicate inflammation and irritation in the body.  

As you go through your day, think about the products you put on your skin. How many different cosmetics do you apply? What are the ingredients in each of those and are they harming or nourishing?

Remain aware of the skincare products you put on your body! Every products counts!

We’re so excited to share that our Clean Living Guide is now available!!! This guide is a clear, step-by-step path to decreasing toxins and cultivating a clean life.

Our WHY. One in three people is expected to get cancer in their lifetime. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, approximately 6.7 million women are struggling to get pregnant each year. Nearly HALF of Americans suffer from chronic diseases and it is projected to increase by 99.5% by 2050. Eliminating exposure to toxins, carcinogens, and endocrine disruptors in all areas of life is crucial and becoming more important with each decade!

A little bit about us. We’re both pediatric nurses who have a passion for integrative medicine and clean living. Although different diagnoses, we both were failed by conventional medicine. This sent us on separate journeys to learn how to naturally heal our bodies. While researching food, products, and environment, we learned the importance of a nontoxic lifestyle to support our health. After years of practicing what we learned, we both have been able to heal our bodies naturally and are excited to help others do the same!

In this guide we give detailed information on WHY a clean lifestyle is so crucial to our health, backed by science. We also share safer swaps for most products. We have poured our hearts into this guide and are so excited to share it with you all ✨🤍

You asked, we delivered! Laundry swaps that we use and love!

There is nothing better than knowing the laundry products you are using on your family’s clothes are safe, clean, and effective!

Watch out for phrases like “Free and Clear” or “Free and Gentle” on big name brands. The only thing these brands are “free” of is fragrances, which earns them the Eczema Association emblem. They still have horrible scores on apps like EWG and contain harmful chemicals like anionic and nonionic surfactants, Sodium Borate, and many others!

Now, let’s get one myth out of the way. Natural, clean products are going to work exactly the same as the leading laundry brand….WRONG. This will never be true because the ingredients are intentionally different. Big name brands are packed with hand picked, harsh chemicals to obliterate stains and make your clothes smell unnaturally floral. Cleaner brands are meant to be effective while also clean and gentle.

As you switch to cleaner products, you may have to adjust your expectations! It may take a little elbow grease to get that stain out. You may not smell a spring rain forest when you pull everything out of the wash. This is an adjustment, but it is worth it!

You will be using an excellent laundry product that does its job and isn’t leaving chemical residue on your skin and isn’t obliterating your hormones.

Fragrances are everywhere, but did you know they are harmful to your health?

🌸 Fragrances can cause respiratory issues and exacerbate pre existing diseases like asthma and lung disorders

🌸 Synthetic fragrances frequently cause headaches and exacerbate migraine disorders [1,2].

🌸 Fragrances often contain an ingredient called Styrene, which is a known human carcinogen [3].

🌸 Fragrances are linked to
cardiovascular, neurological, and immune disorders and endocrine imbalances [1].

The good news is there are plenty of fragrance free brands and products on the market that still work great without the unnecessary risk to health!

Here are six things you can start doing today to clean up your life, without spending any money!

🍃reach out to someone you know who is ahead of you on this journey!

🍃plan meals that you will eat, instead of fab diets & “health food” tricks

🍃avoid processed foods and eat at home!

🍃find a community of likeminded people! There are tons of wellness accounts to follow with great information!

🍃research a provider who will work with you to find the root cause of your problems, instead of a bandaid fix!

what we put on our skin MATTERS! Manufacturers are responsible for ensuring what they put in their products are “safe” but what they don’t take into consideration is the idea that one is using 5-10 plus products a day with these synthetic chemicals in them, causing the exposure to exceed what’s considered safe. These things really do add up and burden our bodies!

Most products on the market are FILLED with synthetic fragrances and harmful chemicals.

Here are some of our go-to products that use clean ingredients!

-Carina Organics & Acure are great options for shampoo and conditioner!

-Ditch Colgate and Crest! We love Risewell, or for a more budget friendly option, Dr Bronner’s Toothpaste!

-Honest and Acure both have great options for face wash!

-Most deodorants contain fragrances and aluminum! Switch to Earthly, primarily pure, beauty counter, or just ingredients for an aluminum and fragrance free deodorant that actually works!

I know you’ve heard it a million times, but breakfast really is the most important meal of the day! Eating a high quality meal within 30 minutes of waking up and starting the day with protein keeps blood sugar balanced and gives energy throughout the day!

⭐️Avoid sugary cereals with preservatives and loaded ingredients. Try something like ! Simple & clean ingredients, balanced macros and taste great!

⭐️Breakfast sandwiches can be SO convenient with kids and busy schedules, but have j***y ingredients. Instead, meal prep your own for the week! It’s cheaper this way and better for you!

⭐️ Skip breakfast sausages like Jimmy Dean, they often contain harmful ingredients like MSG and caramel coloring. Joans chicken sausages are a great store bought option. You can also check with a local meat retailer!

⭐️Avoid yogurts that have all the gums, sugar and natural flavors! is a great option!

⭐️Most store bought pancake mixes use bleached flour, inflammatory oils and add a ton of sugar! Switch to pancake mix for a clean and macro friendly mix!

⭐️Often nut milks and creamers contain seed oils, tons of added sugar and other preservatives. Oats are highly sprayed with glyphosate so it’s very important to buy organic oatmilk if that’s what you like! Our favorites are Elmhurst Almond Milk, Califia Organic Almond Milk, and Malt Oat or Almond Milk!
