Working at someone else's med spa vs. owning your own practice. Here's the truth — and no one talks about this.
When you work as an RN injector at a med spa, you're typically earning 25–40% commission. On a $600 filler appointment, that's $150–$240 in your pocket. The rest goes to the house.
When you own your practice? You keep all of it. You set the price. You choose your clients. You decide when you work.
Now — working for a med spa isn't wrong. It's a great place to build your skills, your confidence, and your portfolio. I recommend it as a starting point for a lot of nurses.
But there is a difference between learning the craft and building someone else's business indefinitely.
Know the difference. Know when to make the move.
