Meet Your Personal Transformation Coach - Amanda Price-Salazar

As a child and young adult, Amanda dealt with obesity, low energy, depression, eating disorders, and exercise addiction. She found that help through a personal trainer, nutritionist, and involvement in a variety of local sports groups and athletic club fitness classes. She continued by educating herself in the areas of nutrition, weig

ht-loss management, and safe exercise techniques – she finally made the change to becoming a healthier and happier person. Today, she is a certified personal trainer, nutrition advisor, and owner of Edge Fitness (formerly Fit4Life Personal Training). Knowing the importance of proper nutrition and exercise habits, Amanda shares her knowledge, motivation, experience and skills, promoting life-long healthy lifestyles. In August 2006, a motorcycle accident added a new dimension to Amanda’s life. Faced with a broken back, hip, and pelvis, she was determined to recover and stay in shape. Working diligently with a physical therapist for over one year, she gradually grew back to being in shape and even stronger than before she was before the accident. Amanda’s exuberance for life plus her new found insight and knowledge regarding physical injuries and recovery has aided her to better support her clients as they strive toward achieving their own health and fitness goals. Personal training is about having a fitness program tailored to meet your individual needs and goals. A certified personal trainer can help you get the most from your exercise plan, so there is no guess-work involved! In addition to specific exercises and daily/weekly fitness programming, instruction on proper form, technique, and stretching are emphasized, minimizing the chances of injury while maximizing the use of your valuable time. ❓ Do you have any referrals of someone you know and trust who might be a good fit for this? I need to hire someone immediately who can potentially stick around for the next 3-4 months!

📆 Start date is - ASAP - NOW! (Ability to work during the week required)
💵 Weekly cash payments for time worked
⏰ Approximately 4-10 hours/week (maybe more only on occasion)
🏠 70% of the job tasks can be completed on your own time or from home
💪🏼 Free private fitness studio membership w/24-hour access
📋 Pay depending on experience, project type, and ability = $18-$25/hour

Weekends are for rest and fun—but that doesn’t mean your nutrition has to fly out the window.

Use the “Balanced Plate Rule” as a simple guide:
✅ ½ plate veggies or fruit
✅ ¼ plate lean protein
✅ ¼ plate whole grains or starchy veggies

healthy fat like avocado, olive oil, or nuts
It’s not about restriction — it’s about fueling your body to feel good and enjoy your weekend with energy and balance. 🙌

Too many people wait for the “perfect” time to start.

"You don’t have to feel ready—you just have to begin."

The truth? The perfect time is a myth.
There will always be something — busy schedules, low energy, self-doubt.

But the people who make progress are the ones who start anyway.
Even if it’s messy. Even if it’s small. Even if they’re unsure.
