We now bring you a message from Christina, an expert in the lash department ✨
📢 Long post but THIS HAS TO BE SAID!
Everybody wants luxury lashes, and luxury lashes will never be the cheapest on the market.
The fan on the left = precision, proper weight distribution, clean attachment, and healthy retention.
The fan on the right = a screaming reminder that not all lash extensions are created equal. A properly made fan should have a narrow base designed to attach safely to a single natural lash. When the base is too wide and bulky, you’re no longer prioritizing lash health—you’re prioritizing saving time, cutting costs, and hoping nobody notices. And don’t get me started on all that glue!
Here’s a little insider tip:
👀 When one of your lash extensions sheds, take a look at it. If it looks like the fan on the right—with a thick, bulky base that resembles a tiny broom—you should be asking questions about what’s happening to your natural lashes underneath. Your extensions should never leave you wondering whether your natural lashes are paying the price for your full set.
At Lush Tuscaloosa, we refuse to sacrifice the integrity of our clients’ lashes for speed, shortcuts, or cheaper products. That’s why our prices may not be the lowest—and we are perfectly okay with that. Because while one of these fans represents quality, education, and long-term lash health… the other represents everything we work hard to avoid.
If your shed extensions consistently look like the one on the right, it may be time to have a conversation with your lash artist—or FIND A NEW ONE.
‼️To my fellow lash artists: We know better. Let’s do better. Lash health should always come before convenience.
⚠️ To my fellow lash extension girlies….Cheap lash fans are expensive when they cost you your natural lashes.
