I love being a mum in my 40s.

In my 30s, I loved training hard — long extreme workouts, strict diets, working and traveling nonstop.

Now? I don’t have endless hours to food prep just for myself or spend half my day skiiing mountain biking and rock climbing. My early 40s were devoted to fertility, growing babies, and easing tiny humans into the world. That season required a different kind of strength. Now I’m turning my fertility into longevity.

These days, I do it differently.

I do yoga once and week lift heavy for no more than an hour total for the whole week. I’m actually skinnier and sleep better and my nervous system is actually regulated.
I support my body with a sustainable, intelligent, local, organic nutrition and supplement plan.
I detox gently and consistently instead of aggressively and sporadically.

The real biohack now isn’t another workout or obsession with my diet — it’s about respecting where I’m at (perimenopause with young kids). Which may happen to you if your lucky enough LOL
It looks like a regulated nervous system and steady energy.

I teach these exact strategies inside Clean Slate — especially for this fiery Year of the Horse, when burnout is easy and grounding is essential. Comment “Horse”and I’ll send you my favorite ways to stay fit and balanced without stepping foot in a gym or counting calories.

The Snake asked you to shed.
The Fire Horse asks you to move. 🐎🔥

In Chinese metaphysics, we entered a new Fire era in 2024 —
a time of visibility, heart-led leadership, and rising consciousness.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, Fire governs the Heart.
And the Heart houses the spirit.

When the Heart is steady → you radiate.
When it’s agitated → you react.

This year amplifies whatever is unresolved.

Midday (11am–1pm) is Heart time — peak Yang, peak expression.
The Fire Horse carries that same pulse.

The question isn’t whether the fire rises.
It’s whether you know how to harness it.

On the New Year day of the Fire Horse, we’re hosting a FREE MasterClass. February 16th 7:30pm PST and Feb 17th 2:30pm AEST.

You’ll receive:
✨ A custom numerology decode handout
✨ Replay access
✨ Tools to lead from the Heart and stay grounded as energy accelerates

Prepared — not reactive.

Years of studying fertility and pregnancy gave me knowledge.
Motherhood is teaching me wisdom.

At 14–15 weeks, science says the placenta takes over and everything shifts.
Energy returns. Hormones settle. A tiny heart begins its steady, powerful rhythm.

Chinese Medicine says Blood nourishes, Qi steadies, and Shen harmonizes.

But what I remember is:
I felt her.

Since then, I’ve been learning her
and learning myself—
one ordinary, messy, beautiful day at a time.

Now I know my real role is different.

To guide instead of control.
To model instead of manage.
To steady my own spirit so she can find hers.

And if I’m honest, she doesn’t just mirror my best parts.
She mirrors my impatience, my tired edges, the places I still need to soften. The places I need to let the magic back in.

Motherhood for me today is a spiritual practice of responseability…..

Some days I lead her.
Some days she leads me.

Walking behind her through the trees, I’m reminded that we are growing each other.

Pregnancy iron is tricky 😮‍💨
Especially when the idea of meat makes you gag and supplements feel like a hard no.

This is one of those gentle, old-school tricks I love:
✨ soaking raisins or sultanas in water ✨

No, it’s not a magic iron fix — but it is:
• easier to digest
• supportive when appetite is low
• a small way to keep iron coming in without forcing food

Pair with a squeeze of lemon 🍋
Keep it away from coffee/tea ☕️
And give yourself grace — aversions are real.

Sometimes pregnancy nourishment is about what you can tolerate, not what’s “perfect.”

Most people don’t think of green onion as medicine but it’s actually a low-histamine, immune-supportive herb that’s been used for centuries in Chinese Medicine.

Why I love it:
✓ Naturally low histamine (and generally well-tolerated)
✓ Supports digestion + gut motility
✓ Mildly antimicrobial (sulfur compounds)
✓ Helps the body release wind-cold (TCM language for early chills + stuffy nose)

If you’re coming down with that classic cold without a sore throat—more chills, stuffy nose, clear mucus—TCM often pairs green onion + fresh ginger to gently warm the surface and move things out.

How to use it traditionally:
• Slice the white base + green tops
• Simmer with fresh ginger in water for 10–15 minutes
• Drink warm and rest
• Best within the first 24–48 hours

It’s simple, accessible, and gentle—especially for those who can’t tolerate garlic or onion due to histamine or FODMAP sensitivity (the green tops are especially friendly).

Sometimes healing hides in the humble herbs.

Rocking Perimenopause with butter.

In Chinese Medicine, butter nourishes Yin, Jing, and Blood.
In biochemistry, it delivers fat-soluble vitamins (A, D, E, K2), cholesterol for hormone synthesis, and butyrate for gut + metabolic signaling.

Conclusion: the girlies need fat.
Butter checks all three boxes. All confirmed now by
