Finding your “Fitness Tribe” is key to your fitness success! 1) find a variety of workouts that are fun and challenging 2) make sure you feel welcomed and encouraged by the instructor and other members and you like the way you feel when you are there 3) do your research: review Yelp, Google and Class Pass,etc reviews. 4) try the classes out for at least a week and make sure you want to keep with it before you join!!!! Today is international women’s day and I cannot let this day go by without calling out all the incredible women in my life... most importantly my daughter who is a beautiful, caring and a loving woman who is just beginning a new chapter in her life and I cannot be more excited for her. My clients who inspire me everyday to do what I do. I know I say it all the time but I cannot teach everyday without their inspiration, my sister-in-law who is always so fun, to my Kappa sisters who have been by my side for over 30 years...every year that we get together it amazes me how lucky I am to be your friend. We have been through so much together and I cannot imagine my life without you all . To the bunch of blondes who show me how to have a good time and enjoy healthy strong marriages .jl I truly love being the only brunette in this group! To my loving friend who shows me how a strong and generous woman lives. All the young woman you mentor are lucky to have you! To my Forever BFF I am so proud of you. These last 5 years you have picked yourself up and built your own kick-ass business all on your own. It brings tears to my eyes how proud of you I am. When I talk to women about my classes, I often hear the following excuses: 1.. “I need to get in better shape before I try it” (🙄 I’ve never understood that logic, if you come to my class you WILL GET FIT AND YOU WILL FIT IN!)
2. “I’m too old” (😕 uh hello, I’ll be 53 next month! I have women from 29 - 62 who train with me daily)
3. “Im afraid I won’t be able to do it”. (😉 Anyone can do my class. Take a closer look at the video...you can kick it up or modify to your fitness level)
4. “I’m scared I won’t fit in” (take a close look at the video, I have EVERY shape and size you can imagine (and I’m no fitness model! ) AND check out my reviews, everyone comments about how welcoming the other women and I are to new people!)
