Fire c***r starts with familiar kitchen ingredients and a little patience.

This traditional herbal vinegar is commonly made with apple c***r vinegar, ginger, garlic, onion, horseradish, and peppers. The ingredients steep for several weeks before the liquid is strained. Honey can be added to balance its bold, tangy flavor.

Recipes vary, which makes learning to make your own part of the fun. You can adjust the ingredients to suit your taste and use the finished vinegar in salad dressings, marinades, or other recipes.

Join us at Riverstone for a hands-on Fire C***r Class with Dawn Parrish. Learn about the ingredients, how the preparation process works, and how to make your own batch.

Dawn grew up in a family that turned to natural approaches first. She began studying herbs in depth about 10 years ago and has spent the past six years learning with an herbalist. She’ll bring that experience to an evening of learning and community.

You don’t need any experience with herbs. Bring your curiosity, and we’ll provide the supplies.

“Patiently waiting for the people who want a meaningful career, love helping others, and don’t want to spend four years in college to find my account.”

As cooler weather settles in, it’s a good time to slow down, care for yourself, and connect with your community. 🍂

Join us at Riverstone for an evening of making fire c***r, learning something new, and gathering around the table.

Fire c***r is a traditional herbal vinegar made with ingredients like ginger, garlic, roots, herbs, and citrus. Known for its warming spice and tangy flavor, it can be enjoyed diluted in a drink or used in dressings and marinades.

Our facilitator, Dawn Parrish, grew up in a family that turned first to natural approaches to everyday wellness. She began studying herbs in depth about ten years ago and has spent the past six years learning alongside an herbalist. She’ll share her experience and guide you through making your own fire c***r.

You’ll learn a practical kitchen skill, work with fresh ingredients, and enjoy time with people in our community.

Just as water shapes stone over time, education shapes the people we become.

What does a spider web have to do with massage therapy? More than you might think. 🕸️

Fascia is a continuous network of connective tissue that surrounds, supports, and connects structures throughout the body. Like a spider web, it’s all interconnected—so when one area is affected, other areas may feel the impact too.

That’s why studying anatomy isn’t just about memorizing isolated muscles and bones. It’s about understanding the relationships within the body and recognizing how those connections can influence movement, comfort, and function.

The way you learn matters. ✨ When massage therapists understand the body as an interconnected system, they can work with greater intention, precision, and confidence—helping clients experience the full value of thoughtful, informed touch.

What a beautiful evening at Riverstone. 🤍

A huge thank you to Shelly and Mark with Golden Dragon Sound & Reiki for sharing such a wonderful sound bath experience with us last night.

The room was filled with incredible sounds, vibrations, relaxation, and connection. It was so special to see people come together, slow down, and simply enjoy the experience.

I also loved being able to add a little massage throughout the evening—it was such a fun way to combine what we do at Riverstone with the experience Shelly and Mark created.

Thank you, Shelly and Mark, for sharing your time, talents, and energy with us, and thank you to everyone who came and supported our first sound bath at Riverstone.

I absolutely loved having our space used for something like this, and I’m looking forward to bringing more community events and experiences to Riverstone in the future. 🤍

Here’s to more evenings of connection, learning, wellness, and community at Riverstone.

Your body is part of your career.

As a massage therapist, you use it every day—not just your hands, but your feet, legs, hips, and the way you move around the table.

That’s why I teach biomechanics at Riverstone as something students practice, not just something they hear about once.

We look at where their weight is, how they’re positioned, and what happens when they try to create pressure. I demonstrate an adjustment, have them feel the difference, and give them time to try it again. Sometimes changing where a foot is placed or how they move through a stroke makes the work feel completely different.

I want students to become curious about their own movement. Can they deliver effective work without forcing it through their hands and shoulders? Can they adjust when something feels awkward?

Learning to care for your own body is part of learning to care for clients—and part of building a career you can keep doing.

The way you learn matters. 🌿

Let me reintroduce myself. 👋

I’m Jerri—the founder of Riverstone Massage Therapy School, LLC.

I’ve spent more than 25 years as a massage therapist and educator, and after all those years at the table and in the classroom, I decided it was time to build the kind of massage school I believe in.

A school where students learn more than techniques.

Where anatomy makes sense.
Where professionalism matters.
Where business education starts on day one.
And where students are prepared for what happens AFTER graduation.

So… let me reintroduce myself.

Massage therapist.
Educator.
Business owner.
And now, massage school founder.

Welcome to Riverstone. 🤍
