Meet my first transportation riders. 😂🖤

Carter grinning like he knew something big was happening.

Baby Jenzy in her car seat…

completely unbothered as always. 😂

This was the beginning of my fleet.

And these two were the first ones on board.

Literally.

I think about this photo a lot.

Because when I started…

nobody could see what I was building.

No blueprint.

No guarantee.

Just a vision.

A bus.

And two babies who had no idea their mom was about to build something from nothing.

That's how most great organizations start.

Not with the perfect plan.

Not with all the resources.

Just a decision to start.

And the faith to keep going.

This little girl walks into every space like she already owns it.

No hesitation.

Just pure confidence and joy.

I keep saying it and I mean it every time…

Jenzy has been teaching me leadership without even knowing it.

There's something about my mom's smile that resets everything.

Doesn't matter what's going on in the business.

Doesn't matter what decisions are waiting on me.

The moment I'm next to her…

everything feels lighter.

That's what the right people do.

They don't just love you.

They ground you.

They remind you who you are outside of what you build.

I never want to be so busy building…

that I miss moments like this one.

Oversized shades.

No laptop.

No emails.

No decisions waiting on me.

Just me.

Poolside.

Completely present.

I used to feel guilty about moments like this.

Like rest had to be earned.

Like enjoying myself meant something was being neglected.

But I've learned…

Rest isn't something you earn after you build.

It's something you build INTO your life.

Intentionally.

Consistently.

Without apology.

The version of me sitting poolside right now…

is the same version that shows up and leads better tomorrow.

She's not checked out.

She's recharging.

And there's a big difference. 😂☀️🖤

This is what recharging looks like for me.

Not a spa.

Not a solo retreat.

Just real ones around a table…

laughing too loud…

and not apologizing for any of it.

Leaders pour into everything and everyone around them.

But you have to pour into yourself too.

And sometimes that looks like a spontaneous night out…

with the people who make you forget you're even a CEO. 😂🖤

It's not a distraction.

It's a requirement.

The food was good.

The music was better.

Striped top.

Champagne flute on the table.

And absolutely zero apologies for what happened next.

This is what joy looks like when you stop waiting for permission to enjoy your life.

No guilt.

No mental checklist running in the background.

No “I should probably be working.”

Just good music.

Good company.

And two women who decided the restaurant floor was a dance floor. 😂

I used to be the leader who was always on.

Always available.

Always producing.

Until I realized…

the most productive thing I could do some days…

was get up and dance.

Joy is not a reward for finishing the work.

It's fuel for doing it well.

Do you trust your staff?

If not…

it's probably your fault.

Hear me out. 😂

Your staff aren't calling you for everything because they're incapable.

They're calling you because you became the system.

You answered every question.

Solved every problem.

Made every decision.

And accidentally taught them one thing…

Don't trust your own judgment. Wait for mine.

The goal isn't to get staff to depend on you less.

It's to give them something better to depend on.

Processes. Expectations. Clarity. Culture.

Because trust isn't built when people know YOU have the answer.

It's built when they know where to find it. 🖤

This is what a Tuesday evening looks like when you've built it right.

Not at my desk.

Not catching up on emails.

Not mentally somewhere else.

Just outside.

Soaking in the sun.

Present for every single moment.

I used to miss these evenings.

Not because I didn't want to be here.

But because I hadn't built something strong enough to let me leave.

Now?

These evenings are protected.

Non negotiable.

Sacred.

Build strong so the golden hour moments never get sacrificed. 🖤

I want to be honest about something.

There was a season where a view like this felt impossible.

Not because I didn't dream big enough.

But because I was so buried in my organization…

so needed for everything…

so unable to step away…

that moments like this existed for other people.

Not for me.

The shift happened when I stopped being the most important person in my organization…

and started building an organization that was important without me.

Systems that held.

People who led.

A culture that carried itself.

And slowly…

the view changed.

From my desk.

To this balcony.

From surviving…

to actually living.

Build strong so the view keeps getting better. ☀️🖤
