Recovery is a personal journey, and one that can take many pathways. Many folks who have a substance use disorder may want to improve, but often they don’t have the resources to do so, including clinical treatment, medication, faith-based approaches, peer support, family support, self care, and others.
Everyone needs support from their community so they can grow and improve.
Let’s talk about the people, not the stereotypes. Recovery happens together.
September is National Recovery Month.
