Founder Reflection Post -
April 2026 shifted 820 FIFTH and my comfort level in the way I operated within it.
**It’s amazing how the Lord will speak something and your thought is “Ok cool…I have time.” Nope, this train got to rolling real fast! 😂
April 2026 (before the closure of Painted Tree) the Lord gave me a “revamp” for 820 FIFTH. My response: “Ok cool.” A week or two later (the day Painted Tree suddenly announced the closure, and consequently the closure of the shop), I heard the Holy Spirit say “Pivot”. In came the panic attacks because that meant it’s really go-time now 😵💫
May 2026 the Lord gives further instructions into the pivot. My response: “Ok Lord, I can do that next year.”
**Lesson: stop doing that because He shows me every time just how little time I actually have lol
A couple weeks later, the opportunity to be obedient AND to pursue a years-long dream presents itself and I realize God had been preparing me all along for this very pivot 🙌🏽😭
🗣️ 820 FIFTH is officially EXPANDING into the wedding and event industry and I couldn’t be more excited!!!!
Our first event will be at the East Texas Wedding Extravaganza in Tyler TX on July 18th (my birthdayyyy!) 🎉 So if you’re getting married or know someone who is, get your tickets and meet me there! (Additional posts on event coming soon!)
