Wow.. what a week! This was a ROUGH one. The past week I had LOTS of side effects from treatment. By the end of the week it had really taken its toll. I just want to say THANK YOU for all the prayers and for our little village who took care of the kiddos so that my amazing husband could take me to and from treatment every day. I am so grateful to say that my scans came back CLEAR! No signs of recurring cancer! My GOD is GOOD!!!

Thank you again. 🫶🏻 I couldn’t do it without Jesus, my husband, my family and you all praying for me and lifting me up!! 😊

Update 🫶🏻

This week I have been doing a preventative round of radiation. The last 3 weeks I have been on my low iodine diet in preparation for treatment. Monday and Tuesday we traveled to Tyler for injections and today we are here for radiation. Friday we will be back again for my full body scan.

Please be in prayer that everything is still clear! My God is still in control. ✝️🤍

Hello Prayer Warriors! I have an update and a prayer request! I recently had a standard follow up ultrasound of my head and neck and they found some abnormalities in my left thyroid bed. They are ordering a head CT to further investigate.

Nothing is too big or too small for my God. Prayers for a good report!!

I will keep you updated on the results. 🫶🏻

•All I can say is my God is SO good!
•Today, I am cancer free.
•Today, I am stronger than ever.
•Today, I have THREE beautiful children.
•Today, I am alive and well and living to shine my light for the one who saved me.

SCAN RESULTS = NORMAL 🥹

The treatment did its job. Cancer has not metastasized past the neck area. PRAISE JESUS!!

I go back in October for a follow up. As of now, I will be monitored closely to try and get medications adjusted appropriately.

This is the best news we could have hoped for. Prayer works 🤍

September is Thyroid Cancer Awareness Month 🩵🩷💜
What a journey the last 12 months have been for me. I am forever grateful for the support system and prayer warriors that have held me up through my diagnosis, surgery, and now radiation. 3.5 more days of isolation until I can hopefully put this chapter behind me. 🤍

Checked in and waiting to be called back.

Today is my final day of treatment and the day I receive the Radioactive Iodine Ablasion. Today I also go into 7 days of isolation before my whole body scan. Please be in prayer for me and my family over the next several days. 🤍
