My advice: find a provider who knows which labs to run and how to interpret them before you agree to go on a GLP-1 or Hormone Replacement Therapy…otherwise you could be doing a lot more harm than good.

These are the labs your provider should be really familiar with if they’re recommending a GLP-1 to you:
• liver health markers (including GGT)
• fasting insulin
• blood sugar markers and ratios (including HOMA)

And when considering HRT, if they haven’t run a DUTCH test run fast and far.
