More spaces for wellness, connection + community. 🤍

One of the most rewarding parts of my work is bringing sound healing and mindful experiences beyond the studio spaces and into our local communities.

Whether it’s introducing someone to sound healing for the first time or opening conversations around mental + emotional well-being, I love making these resources feel more approachable and accessible.

I’m especially passionate about creating more opportunities for students, youth programs + school districts to experience wellness in ways that feel supportive, engaging + relatable.

Grateful for the connections made right here in Union City, and excited to continue bringing this work into more schools and communities throughout the Bay Area.

October is Filipino American History Month 🇵🇭

A month to honor the stories, sacrifices, contributions + history of Filipinos in America—and especially here in the Bay Area, where our community has such deep roots.

As a Fil-Am, it means a lot to me to honor where we come from while also thinking about the stories we’re creating now. Through the work I do, I hope in my own small way to contribute to that story too—creating spaces where culture, wellness, rest + community can exist together.

And I’m grateful to have several opportunities to do exactly that this month:

For the .eastbay WESTCOAST MAKERS | PopUp Shops celebrations on the 17th + 24th, I’ll be there as a community wellness resource, sharing sound healing and creating space around mental + emotional well-being for our FAHM neighbors 🤍

Some experiences stay with you long after the sound fades. 🤍

One of the most rewarding parts of this work is getting to create experiences where wellness, culture + community can exist in the same space.

For this experience with LinkedIn, we created space together through reflection, sound healing, crystals and thoughtful touches inspired by my Filipino culture. 🇵🇭

With Filipino American History Month right around the corner, I’m reminded how meaningful it is when workplaces and organizations make room not only to celebrate culture and community, but to care for the people within them. Sometimes even a small opportunity to rest can mean a lot. 🤍

A special thank you to Ame 🌹 Hernandez for trusting me to create and hold this space. It was such a rewarding experience, and I’m grateful for the connections that came from it.

A little hydration with a whole lot of flavor. 💧✨

Having kampeonwater join us at Aura Wellness Studio was such a fun way to close out our sound bath experience. After a session all about nurturing ourselves from within, everyone got to enjoy their vitamin-enhanced sparkling waters featuring Filipino-inspired flavors. They’re refreshing and so easy to drink on their own—no weird sparkling-water aftertaste—or you can have a little fun and mix them into your own drinks🍹 (More on that coming soon)

And personally? Calamansi definitely has my heart🍊

I’m intentional about the brands I bring into the spaces I create, and I love when a partnership adds something thoughtful to the overall experience.

With Filipino American History Month coming up in October, I’m especially excited to find more ways to bring wellness, culture + community together. 🇵🇭✨

Thank you to the Union City Community & Recreation Services for bringing our community together for Polly’s Heart Fair. Heart wellness is especially personal to me because of my dad, so participating right here in my hometown made the day even more meaningful ❤️

And to everyone I met—hi! 👋🏽 I’m Angela, a Union City local and wellness facilitator creating sound healing, meditation + mindful experiences for youth and adults throughout the Bay Area—from schools and workplaces to community organizations and private groups.

I loved meeting so many of you, watching you try the instruments for yourselves, and learning about the resources within our community. I’d especially love to connect with more organizations supporting grief, mental + emotional wellness, and with our youth especially. Here’s to more meaningful local connections + collaborations. ✨

Okay… I think we need more of these 🧘🏽‍♀️✨

Our first Red Light Therapy + Sound Bath experience was such a beautiful reset.

We started with gentle yoga poses + stretching, moved into mindful stillness, and finished with an immersive sound experience under the red light.

As a facilitator, I needed this one too ❤️ I’ve been dealing with discomfort all week, and by the time we finished, I felt so much relief and noticeably better in my body. A reminder that even while I’m holding space for others, I get to receive a little too. (Thank you)

Our next session is Saturday, September 26 and is limited to just 10 guests.

➡️But here’s my question… should we keep this one going? 👀

Wellness belongs in sports, too. 🏐🤍

Coming back to my old high school—this time to create space for its student athletes—felt a little extra special.

I graduated JLHS 🐴 in 2005, and back then, resources around mental + emotional wellness weren’t nearly as abundant as they are today. I’m grateful to now be able to come back and offer the girls this space.

We talked about respecting yourself, taking care of yourself, supporting one another, and knowing that it’s always okay to reach out when you need someone to talk to 🫂

I’m introducing Red Light + Sound Bath Reset — an experience for when you just want to lie down, unplug, and reset.

This class at Aura Wellness Studio will be sound-forward + sensory-focused, pairing an immersive sound bath with a red light environment for a different kind of sound bath.

❤️ Why pair red light + sound?

* Red light can support cellular energy + circulation
* May support muscle recovery and help with inflammation
* Can support healthier-looking skin
* Immersive sound creates a sensory environment that encourages relaxation
* Gives your mind a break from the constant stimulation of everyday life
* Together, they create space to simply settle in, receive + reset

No experience needed. Just get comfortable and let the sound do its thing.
