Easy Adams Pecan Banana Bread

Ingredients

3 very ripe bananas, mashed
⅓ cup melted butter
¾ cup sugar
1 egg, beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon baking soda
Pinch of salt
1½ cups all-purpose flour
½ cup chopped Adams pecans

Directions

Heat the oven to 350°F.
Grease a 9-by-5-inch loaf pan.
Mash the bananas in a large bowl.
Stir in the melted butter, sugar, beaten egg and vanilla.
Mix in the baking soda and salt.
Gently stir in the flour just until everything is combined. Fold in Adams pecans—don’t overmix.
Pour the batter into the loaf pan.
Bake for 50–60 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean or with only a few moist crumbs.
Let it cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before removing it.
