💗 Beauty Is More Beautiful Shared™
My mom, Janice Jackson. ❤️
When I think about the woman who taught me the most about beauty, confidence, and taking care of myself, I think of my mom.
She has always encouraged me to take care of myself—not just on the outside, but because she knows how much feeling good about yourself can affect how you carry yourself through life.
One of the things she has always said to me is:
“When you look good, you feel good.”
And I’ve carried those words with me for years.
My mom is a licensed cosmetologist, so I grew up learning about beauty from someone who truly understands it. But what she taught me went far beyond hair, makeup, or looking nice. She taught me that taking time for yourself matters. That feeling beautiful matters. And that there is nothing wrong with putting a little effort into yourself and enjoying it.
She has also supported me throughout my Mary Kay journey, encouraging me and believing in what I do. So much of what I know and love about beauty started with her. ❤️
And if you know my mom, you know she is always beautiful—inside and out.
Mom, thank you for teaching me more about beauty than anyone I know and for always reminding me to take care of me. I love you! ❤️
