Be With the Herd at Blue Ray of Hope

Be With the Herd at Blue Ray of Hope Be with the Herd offers a new way of BEING guided by the wisdom of your own personal energies. Many of our retreats are held on this amazing property.

The powerful horse-human connection is combined with science-backed methods to reduce stress, increase resilience and optimize overall heatlh. Blue Ray of Hope was created in 2011, birthed from a vision in the mind of Donna Panucci. Donna was inspired by her studies in the fields of energy medicine and spirituality, quickly realizing the lost art of creating a life filled with health, hope, and ha

ppiness. Her mission is to provide a community of leaders to illuminate the way to reconnecting with our source and the many gifts available within all of us. Dr. Donna Panucci is a motivational coach and spiritual teacher who developed a simple, effective method to obtaining and maintaining a life filled with passion and joy. She comes from a clinical background as an orthodontist, managing a successful practice while “Creating Smiles in More Ways than One” for over 20 years. Donna began her journey of understanding the human psyche by becoming an HBDI® Certified Practitioner, which administers an assessment that evaluates and describes the degree of preference individuals have for thinking in each of the four brain quadrants, as depicted by the Herrmann Whole Brain® Model. Her burning desire to empower her family, friends and patients to see their lives in a positive light led her to study with Doreen Virtue and become a Certified Angel Therapy Practitioner®. Donna also embraced the innate healing power within our energetic bodies as she became a Reiki Master and an Integrated Energy Therapy® Master-Instructor. With this diverse spiritual background, Donna immersed herself in the Akashic Records in 2011, becoming a Pathway Prayer Process Akashic Records Practitioner under the expert guidance of Linda Howe. Her most recent accomplishment is the culmination of three years of studies in Donna Eden's Energy Medicine program. She completed her Eden Energy Medicine Practitioner Certification in February of 2014 and is passionate about teaching this empowering technique to all. Donna’s goal is to assist you in bridging the gap between believing and receiving the visions that you create in your heart, mind and soul. Blue Ray of Hope Center for Holistic Studies boasts beautiful rolling plateaus of karst farmland and picturesque valleys nestled along the the lofty ridges of the Appalachian Mountains. The historic Marvin Chapel constructed in the 1860’s during the Civil War Period in Monroe County, WV stands on the grounds of Chapel Ridge Farm. About that little promise from this weekend…
Remember when I asked you to do one thing over the weekend that helped you exhale a little deeper?

It wasn’t a graded assignment, but it was important 😌
And if life happened (because life does), you get a re-do.

Movement doesn’t have to mean some intense workout or checking another box on the wellness list.

Sometimes it looks like:
💛 stretching in the kitchen
💛 dancing badly in your living room (highly encouraged 😉)
💛 walking outside for five minutes
💛 standing in the sunshine and taking one deeeeep, loooong breath

Tiny moments count.
Your nervous system notices.

So this is your permission slip to stop scrolling for a minute and moooooove your beautiful body today 💛

Consider this your gentle weekend reminder

💛 You do not have to earn rest.

💛 You do not have to finish every single thing before you pause.

💛 And slowing down does not mean you’re falling behind.

Sometimes renewal begins with something very simple:

A warm drink.

Fresh air.

Five quiet minutes.

A walk.

A good laugh.

A moment where your shoulders soften and your nervous system gets to exhale.

Will it magically fix everything?

Probably not 😉

But it will help you feel more grounded, more steady, and a little more prepared to face whatever comes next.

So even if you can’t take a long break or go on a vacation, promise me you’ll do one small thing this weekend that helps you unwind 💛

October might seem far away, but isn’t it great to have something to look forward to?

Not a dental appointment, a parent-teacher conference, or getting the air conditioner serviced.

Something that’s just for you.

Over the years of hosting my women’s retreat, I’ve found that the healing starts long before the gals get here.

It starts when they say:

💛 “I want something different.”
💛 “I’m ready to feel more like myself again.”
💛 “Maybe I don’t have to carry everything alone.”

That’s exactly why I’m opening the conversation now for our next Be Free with the Herd retreat 🐴✨, October 8–11, 2026, in the beautiful mountains of West Virginia.

A space to reset, restore, reconnect, and be supported, guided, and heard.

One beautiful participant, Lori, shared this after attending:

“The wellness retreat went beyond mental and emotional nourishment… I left feeling lighter, more attuned, and at peace for the days ahead.”

If you want to experience what Lori described, don’t just add the date to your calendar.

You can sign up for retreat details, and I’ll send you reminders as October gets closer

Can I lovingly say something to you?
You do not always have to be the strong one.

I know.

You’re capable.
You’re caring.
People depend on you.

That’s great, really. But you and I both know that somewhere along the way, you got really good at carrying hard things quietly.

Maybe too good…

But friend, you don’t have to keep carrying it alone.
Asking for support doen’t mean you’ve failed.
It means you’re human.

The work I do with women and my healing herd isn’t about fixing you or pushing you.
It’s about creating enough safety for your nervous system to soften.

A place where you can finally exhale.
Be heard…
Be nurtured…
Reconnect with yourself again…

Because when we stop surviving for just a moment, something beautiful emerges…

🦋 clarity
🦋 self-trust
🦋 confidence
🦋 choice

If your heart whispered, “I think I need that…” while reading this, maybe it’s time we talked.

I’d be honored to walk beside you for a little while 💛

Sometimes I wonder if we’ve forgotten what calm actually feels like.

And I don’t mean the “I finally finished my to-do list” calm.
Or the “I earned a break” calm.

I’m talking about the kind of calm where your shoulders soften… your breath slows down… and for a moment, you stop bracing for what’s next.

The kind where you’re truly here.
In this moment.
In this place.
Here in your body.

I see so many incredible women who are doing, doing, doing…

Taking care of everyone else, carrying so much, holding it all together.

And somewhere along the way, they stop feeling like themselves.
Maybe you know that feeling?

Where you’re technically “fine”… but also exhausted.
Overwhelmed.
Wired at night but tired all day.

Friend, your nervous system might be waving a little white flag.

And before you tell me, “Donna, I don’t have time to slow down…” ✋ I hear you. Truly.
But we cannot heal, think clearly, or fully experience joy when our system is stuck in overdrive.

A calm nervous system changes how we think, sleep, heal, respond, and move through life.

And this isn’t woo-woo 😉 It’s science and experience.

The beautiful thing?
Your body already knows how to come back to calm. Sometimes it just needs support finding the way back.

That’s part of why I do this work.
And trust me, my equine pals, Laredo and Ginger, would tell you the same if they could type 🐴💛

I want you to choose you and choose calm today, so here’s a little gift to get you started:

When was the last time you felt truly present? No racing thoughts, no distractions, no urge to fill the silence.

Just truly being present.

For many people, that isn’t easy, especially if their minds and bodies are used to always being 'on.'

But it’s something you can learn.
And you don’t have to figure it out alone.

If you want to learn how to slow down and find a deeper level of presence, let’s talk about it: https://bewiththeherd.myflodesk.com/coaching

Here’s something surprising:
🚨 You can be in survival mode and not know it…

Before you think, “But I feel fine,” remember it’s not always obvious.
You might think it means always being on edge or snapping at people, but sometimes it looks like this…

👉 Always being “on,” even when you’re trying to rest
👉 Getting things done, but feeling tired all the time
👉 Holding everything together for everyone else, even when you feel like you’re falling apart

It's easy to miss these signs, especially if you’re used to always performing at a high level. But often, this is your nervous system asking for help.

The good news is you can start to shift this gently.

I’ve made a free guide called Ignite Calm that shows you a simple way to reset your nervous system in just a few minutes.

You can get it here 👇

“I found myself again…"

That was one of the most powerful reflections shared at our most recent retreat.

Gail arrived feeling weighed down, depressed, and overwhelmed. It would have been easy for her to isolate herself and stay stuck.

But she refused to.

She let herself step away and focus on healing. By doing this, she gained more than she expected.

She found herself.

If this is the kind of change you’ve been seeking, consider joining us for our next retreat in October 🔗 https://bewiththeherd.myflodesk.com/bewiththeherdoctober2026

Have you ever thought about what happens when a group of women lets themselves slow down, even for just a few days?

You can see the difference on their faces. There’s a lightness that shines through.

During our weekend at Be Free with the Herd, I watched these women gently let go of what had been weighing them down.

With gentle movement, time in nature, and just being with the herd, they found their way back to themselves.

And through it all, there was something even more meaningful: connection, joy, and quiet moments that said it all.

I’m truly grateful for each of these women and for the space we created together.

If you missed this retreat, there will be more soon…
