One year ago, Tofu came to Wild Pines Sanctuary after being found on the side of the road with his siblings

Happy 1st Rescueversary to our sweet Tofu!

We truly cannot believe it has already been a whole year since this little guy came into our lives.

For those who don’t know Tofu’s story, we actually met him completely by chance. We were at the vet with another resident when one of the techs came up to us and asked if we wanted to meet a puppy they had taken in after he was found on the side of the road with his siblings.

His siblings had all found homes, but Tofu was still there. He was incredibly shy, and they thought our sanctuary might be the kind of place where he could really come out of his shell and thrive.

A year later, he is still one of the sweetest dogs we have ever known. Truly sweeter than candy. If you have visited the sanctuary and met Tofu, you already know. He is gentle, loving, affectionate, and just about as perfect as they come.

We hope this boy had the very best day, because he deserves it!!
