This bar is a main staple of giveaway soaps that so many of our customers use. Cedar is a sacred plant of our people. It is said that this plant is what the Wakinyan Oyate (Thunder Nation) built their nest from and if you burn it as incense or a smudge during a thunder storm, the Wakinyan will favor you and not bring harm to your home.

Cedar is a natural antiviral and antimicrobial medicine that will help promote healthy skin and hair. This is considered one of our soap smudges one can use daily to literally clean yourself off (not just physically, but spiritually as well). We also colored this soap using natural earth pigments and activated charcoal in honor of the Wakinyan Oyate. We see the Thunder Nation as our relatives that bring life with the rain and they cleanse the earth of negative energies.

This luxurious bar is made of organic ingredients such as: RSPO Sustainable Palm Butter, Coconut Oil, Castor Oil, Goat's Milk, Canola Oil, Greek Yogurt, Kaolin Clay, Sugar, Lye, Cocoa Butter, Cedar Needles Infused in Grapeseed Oil, and Cedar Essential Oil.

Wóyaŋzaŋ Waniče - Means "There is No Pain"

Mugwort, Arnica, Comfrey, Tumeric, Ginger & Cayenne Pepper, infused Olive oil with shea butter, cocoa butter and beeswax and lavender essential oil pain relieving and healing topical salve.

This salve is for mild pain relief, good for blood circulation and bruising, arthiritc symptoms, and especially good for those who have diabetes and need to take special care of their feet.

The mugwort is a strong antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory and antifungal medicine plant.
The arnica is an anti-inflammatory that relieves muscle and joint pain. The comfrey is also an anti-inflammatory and helps heal and soothe bruises, pulled muscles, ligaments, fractures, sprains, strains, and osteoarthritis symptoms.
The tumeric is anti-inflammatory and an anti-fungal as well. The ginger helps with soothing sore muscles and joints with sore joints and swelling. The cayenne helps with soothing and relieving pain and supports healthy blood flow and circulation.

We grind up the sage and make an infused oil and add it after the lye and oil cook. The imposed Western Latin name for this medicine plant variant is Artemesia ludoviciana. This was harvested by our family while we were home along the Porcupine Creek on Standing Rock north of Fort Yates, North Dakota. Wild sage has been used in Lakȟota ceremonies as far back as our creation stories, the beginning of time. The plant has been used to cleanse, purify, and chase away all that is bad or negative. Sage is also a natural disinfectant, works just as well as Lysol. It can be burned and the smoke will kill airborne bacteria, and the tea can be used as an alternative to chemical cleaners used to clean and disinfect your home. You will find sage is a part of every ceremony in one way or another. Wild sage also has its medicinal uses as well. A tea made of wild sage has been used to treat colds, induce sweating, stomach ailments, and to help with diabetes. The tea has also been used to help with skin disorders; washing with sage tea has been said to help treat acne, psoriasis, eczema, and other skin problems. Wild sage has also been used to help treat, cleanse, and heal puncture wounds.
