Justus Kieliszewski put the lawn mower away last night and got a sting right between the eyes. It wasn't too swelled up when he left for work this morning and he looked like this when he got home. His profile looks like he belongs on Star Trek.

This is an email I received this afternoon from a customer. There was a miscommunication in one of my emails and she was having difficulty at checkout.

She emailed this morning and I responded within minutes with options to fix the problem.

She didn't go through a phone tree or a decision matrix to get a hold of someone. She didn't get put in a queue to wait. She didn't get an AI response that said how much we value her while not solving her problem.

She spoke directly to the owner and had a real solution that she was happy with.

It isn't unusual for me to receive emails like this. We offer exceptional customer service!

We appreciate each and every one of our customers and treat them the way we'd like to be treated.

Happy Mother's Day!

I am very fortunate to be able to visit my mom today, and have my boys around me this Mother's Day.

I know for many people Mother's Day can bring up a lot of emotions. There are people missing their moms, some are missing their kids, some are just plain old tired.

So much of what women do is quiet. It doesn't always get noticed or sometimes not even appreciated.

So whether you're being celebrated or missing someone or just trying to make it through the day, I hope you find a small moment that feels tender and good. Nothing fancy, just something that makes you feel cared for today.
