Many Medicare-covered services designed to support better health and improve quality of life go underutilized each year- not because they are unavailable, but because patients and providers may be unaware that they exist or uncertain about eligibility requirements.

Join Good Days for an educational webinar, ‘Hidden Medicare Benefits’, focused on commonly overlooked Medicare-covered services and preventive benefits that may help support patient health outcomes and reduce barriers to care.

This virtual session is designed to help Medicare beneficiaries, caregivers, and healthcare providers better understand available benefits, recognize opportunities for support, and learn how to ask the right questions during care planning discussions.

Last week marked World Cystinosis Day, a time to raise awareness for nephropathic cystinosis, a rare genetic disease that can impact nearly every part of the body and requires lifelong treatment and care.

At Good Days, we know that for patients and families living with rare diseases, the need for support doesn’t end after an awareness day.

We’re proud to support patients through our Nephropathic Cystinosis assistance program and remain committed to helping individuals access the care and treatment they need!

At 89, Jerry has traveled to 72 countries and built a career that took him around the world. Today, he treasures quiet days fishing near home and time with his family.

After being diagnosed with macular degeneration, Jerry turned to Good Days for help affording his treatments. “It is a blessing that I don’t have to stop taking the treatments or worry my children with the burden,” he says.

When he learned his support would continue for another year: “Wow—oh my goodness. That news was incredible.”

Good Days continues to raise awareness and advocate for lasting solutions to address the growing need for access to retinal disease treatments.

We are grateful to have been able to support more than 100,000 individuals this year through our Vascular and Neovascular Retinal Disease (VNRD) and Neurodegenerative Retinal Disease (NDRD-FA) Copay Programs. More than 400,000 people have reached out to us for help, underscoring the growing gap between need and available support.

We are deeply thankful to share that a generous donor has extended a 1:1 matching campaign through 2026, directly benefiting our VNRD Program. Every gift made during this time will have double the impact, helping us reach more individuals in need.
