Fat Bear Week is over, but another great bear season is opening in Churchill. 🐻‍❄️

Every fall, polar bears gather along Hudson Bay while waiting for sea ice to return so they can hunt seals again. Polar Bears International says its Churchill camera network operates through October and November, with Cape South streaming year-round.

PBI House opened its 2026 bear-season hours on October 3, and Polar Bear Week follows November 1–7. The first recurring mother, cub family or unmistakable character could change this watch fast.
