The mom group we have all been waiting for. The Well! It’s not just a mom group. Led by licensed experts and simply focussed on what matters. 8 sessions of curriculum led discussion groups focus on care & feeding of your new baby led by myself (Dawnita Wicks MSN,RN,IBCLC) and meaningful discussion portions led by a postpartum therapist (Rachel Benson LCSW). A message to you mother. Those that have a baby in their arms. I see you. I know the algorithm sees you too. But we see two different things. While the algorithm sees a potential viewer, follower, purchaser, I see a woman who was just born into a new creature. You will never be the same. You consider every choice you make for your baby because now life isn’t primarily about you. And even though you are doing something that matters more than anything you have experienced before you also are doing it for the first time so you feel like you doubt every freaking choice! And although the noise and clatter and frenzy to get your attention is loud I know your inner WOMAN is louder. And although doubt and insecurity is present so is a clear drive to figure things out and watch for patterns in your baby. Patterns beyond useless tracked minutes at the breast. Patterns of behavior. Content via wanting to be held. The holler and cry they do before passing a fart. That way they always snuggle in before they start to close their eyes. And this inner MOTHER is what will push you past all this noise. Call it out for what it is! If your instinct is that something isn’t helpful say it! And don’t give it your precious time. Go be with women who were just born into MOTHERHOOD. BECAUSE WHEN YOUR INNER VOICES JOIN AND CONFIRM AND VALIDATE EACH OTHER, things happen. They change. Automatic bassinets will stop being in demand. Babies will stop having unneeded surgeries, apps won’t be downloaded every second and moms won’t feel guilty about letting their babies fall asleep on them. So take this as you sign. To listen to that inner instinct. Because it has huge potential to in-fact change this whole chaotic reality for mothers of the next generation. Because what we no longer fall for and tolerate those who follow us won’t have to break down so they can simply feed and nurture their babies without a formula company popping up every 30 seconds asking if they have considered dual feeding because “everyone is doing it.” SHARE IF YOU HEARD THIS!

You our body always works on a supply and demand system. If baby is feeding great at 2 months there is no reason to think that is going to change at 3 months milk should match baby’s needs by 1 week and not be too much or too little.
