The delicious Watermelon, originated in Africa.
When enslavement was transformed in america,
and our Black sisters and brothers cultivated the watermelon to sell and be able to support themselves,
the america then, more specifically yt southerners, used propaganda to demonize it, caricaturing Black people “as lazy and child-like for selling and eating watermelon”, 👀 Some of that propaganda is still alive today.
Just this month,  another “country”, one rooted in na**sm, officially declared the watermelon “extremist and anti - Semitic “👀
The watermelon has been a symbol of self sufficiency and RESISTANCE in our Black communities and that RESISTANCE is mirrored by our Pales tinian sisters & brothers, who have been facing an illegal aparth eid violent occupation since 1948.
It is now also a symbol for solidarity 🙏🏾🍉
And no yt supremacist, colonizer, will ever change that, despite their many attempts.
Gentle reminder: There is no Yoga without Viveka.
Viveka urges us to DISCERN which requires Critical Thinking (Critical Thinking is a process)👀
Viveka urges everyONE of us to DISCERN and then filter through LOVE which is NOT without JUSTICE. 👀
As some beings choose harm over humanity during these Kali Yuga times…

cOMmUNITY, there is no love without JUSTICE ✊🏾
Just like there is no love without respect, without trust, without care, without honest communication….
As we observe the fall of empire, (it will get worse before it gets better, this is Kali Yuga time)
and experience the vileness of colonialism, aparth eid, fascism…
Gentle reminder:
LOVElessness is pervasive in this “united” states of aparth eid, and colonialism thrives in it.
Y’all can choose love by way of solidarity, by way of speaking up for the oppressed, by way of choosing to LOVE on your cOMmUNITY of BEINGS on this earth, no matter their ethnicity; and have a chance to thrive together👀

Y’all can choose the propaganda, that further encourages the opposite of LOVE: fear,
and adopt indoctrinations that dehumanize BEINGS on this earth; ultimately choosing harm for others which shall eventually end up on y’alls door…
Choose wisely.

As we begin Women’s history month,
Gentle reminder: the current gen 0 cide supported with our taxes has harmed/killed
WOMEN, children and babes (and continues).
We need Justice & Peace 🙏🏽
And it begins by y'all standing up against harm (genocide & war). Speak about it (for silence shall not ever protect y’all and silence usually aligns with the oppressor).
It continues by y’all calling your state representatives and
demanding an end to the gen 0cide of our Palestinians SISters and brothers (no more weapons for gen 0 cide)
and yes to support Ukraine's mothers, sisters, cousins (they didn't start this war). It further continues, by cultivating cOMmUNITY and finding and supporting organizations like and Jews for Racial & Economic Justice, (there are many org standing against gen ocides, find one that resonates with y’all) and choosing a sustainable and safe way to protest until both the gen ocide and war are over 🙏🏾
Want to stand up for WOMEN?!
Stand up agaisnt ge no cide
Stand up against the war on Ukraine
Stand up to support DEI (FACT: white women have benefited the most from diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives)
Stand up against fascism 🙏🏽
Yoga includes Ahimsa - non violence practice
- for those in the back: y'all can't claim y'all practice Yoga while supporting any type of harm. Periodt.

Mindfulness is checking in with oneself and contemplating between what is needed and what is wanted.
Mindfulness is choosing only what you need.
This season, we hope that we wake up as a cOMmUNITY to the manipulation of the neverending consumerism pushed upon all of us, and that we intentionally choose to no longer contribute to it. Let it starve.

According to Yogic philosophy, we are in Kali Yuga,
a time where spirituality is lacking severely, chaos, toxicity, oppression… thrives.
We continue to see this as our tax dollars keep supporting genocides and misogyny, white supremacy, toxic patriarchy gets elected.
It has been time for cOMmUNITY.
We hope y’all choose to rest and then gather with like minded beings that are ready to organize in peace towards peace.
We hope y’all choose humanity and choose to gather in peace & love moving toward peace & love.
We hope y’all remember, that none of us are free, until all of us are free. Only in cOMmUNITY shall there be liberation 🙏🏾
