Being a good neighbor means more than simply living in the same community—it means showing up, building connections, creating friendships, and making sure everyone knows they belong.

Mr. Rogers reminded generations of us about the power of kindness and what it means to truly care for the people around us. That same spirit lives in everything we do at Creative Foundations. 🌈

Whether we’re exploring our neighborhoods, supporting local businesses, volunteering, making new friends, or simply sharing a smile, our folks continue to show that community is better when everyone has a place in it.

Creative Foundations had an AMAZING time at this year’s Summer Sizzle! 💙

There’s nothing better than getting out into the community, spending time together, making memories, and enjoying all the fun that summer has to offer. From the smiles and laughter to the connections made along the way, it was a day to remember!

We’re grateful for opportunities like Summer Sizzle that bring our community together and remind us what inclusion, connection, and belonging are all about. 🌈✨

Today, Creative Foundations had the incredible opportunity to welcome LaWanda Jackson to our Day Program as a guest speaker!

After surviving a life-threatening stroke, LaWanda turned adversity into purpose, strength, and inspiration. She shared her powerful journey with our folks, reminding us that even through life’s greatest challenges, there is still an opportunity to grow, persevere, and make an impact.

Her determination, positive spirit, and heart truly connected with everyone in the room. 💜

Thank you, LaWanda, for spending time with Creative Foundations and for reminding us of the power of resilience, courage, and never giving up on your story.

A big happy birthday to Gary Tonks! Gary has been a huge advocate and mentor through out the DD community and we are super grateful to continue to work alongside him to make a difference for people with disABILITIES!💙🤟🏽

Dave Lewis and Gary Tonks from The The Arc of Ohio were our guests speakers at the Kiwanis luncheon today!! They do such a great job supporting individuals with developmental disabilities!!!

Being present in spaces where policy, leadership, and the future of disability services are discussed matters. Advocacy means ensuring that the voices, experiences, rights, and needs of people with disabilities are represented when decisions are being shaped.
