Warming up the muscle tissue before deep tissue techniques were applied. Although the client expressed that her lower back was her main area of concern, the hyperemia indicated to me that her mid back needed some TLC as well 🥰

Hyperemia...Increase of blood flow to an area.

This is not painful at all and redness tends to fade before session is over.

Hyperemia...Increase of blood flow to an area. This was done manually only using my hands to release muscle knots and break up adhesions within connective tissue. Isn't it beautiful? 😍

This is not painful at all and redness tends to fade before session is over.

How many of us make time for just US? Not worrying about all the things that needs to be done today, or this week. Although it sounds easier said than done, please DO NOT NEGLECT YOURSELF! You can't pour from an empty cup so take time and give yourself "Me Time" whether it's 5 minutes in the mirror complimenting yourself, saying your daily affirmations, taking a long bath, or even reading one chapter of a book.

The greatest you can give yourself is a little bit of attention 😉
