We are excited to officially welcome the newest member of our team, Shileigh, RN, to Frey Health Services! ❤️

Shileigh has been a nurse since 2017 and has served patients in a variety of healthcare settings, including emergency care and public health. Her passion for helping others and her heart for patient care immediately stood out to us. She was drawn to Frey Health Services because she wanted to be part of a mission focused on proactive, preventative care — helping patients improve their overall health, wellbeing, and quality of life before chronic illness takes hold. That passion aligns so beautifully with the heart behind everything we do here at Frey Health Services.

Outside of nursing, Shileigh is a devoted wife and mother who loves spending time with her husband, daughter, family, and friends. She enjoys being outdoors and has an incredible green thumb with planting and gardening. She is also quite the homesteader, growing, preserving, and canning food for her family. She is a cat lover, recently picked up crocheting, and absolutely loves the fall season — especially the crisp air, colorful leaves, hoodies, and bonfires.

We already adore Shileigh, and we know our patients will too. Her compassion, warmth, and dedication to helping others make her such a wonderful addition to our growing team.

With Shileigh joining us, we are also excited to now offer MORE availability for our in-office services! She will be assisting with our Medical Weight Loss Program, serving as an infusion nurse for our IV Therapy Program, running our Infrared Sauna services, and playing a major role in our Men’s Hormone Optimization Program, as well as an exciting upcoming program that we cannot wait to share with all of you very soon!

One of the most common concerns we hear from men joining our hormone optimization program is stubborn weight gain, difficulty losing fat, and an inability to build muscle like they used to.

Low testosterone can significantly impact metabolism, muscle mass, energy production, insulin sensitivity, and fat distribution. Testosterone helps build and maintain lean muscle, which naturally burns more calories throughout the day. When testosterone levels drop, muscle mass decreases, metabolism slows, energy declines, and the body becomes more prone to storing fat — especially abdominal fat.

Even more frustrating, body fat contains an enzyme called aromatase, which converts testosterone into estrogen, creating a vicious cycle: lower testosterone leads to more fat gain, and more fat gain leads to even lower testosterone levels.
