Just put this to the test after a 10K climb running race and heck yea it worked!

Of course I also did a dynamic cooldown and mobility work after the race, but a seemingly large amount of watermelon was my first recovery food and it worked like a charm. 100% a fan and grateful to Dr. Greger and NutritionFacts.org for sharing this post!

A full-circle moment 🥹

Alpine skier Sarah Schleper, 46, and her son Lasse Gaxiola, 18, are the first mother-son duo to compete in the same Winter Olympic Games at and the first in Mexican Olympic history.

This marks Schleper’s seventh Olympic appearance, while Gaxiola makes his Olympic debut, both competing in alpine skiing for Team Mexico. Together, they are two of Mexico’s five athletes at the 2026 Winter Games.

Schleper, a longtime Olympic veteran who previously competed for the United States, later switched national representation to Mexico. After coming out of retirement, she now returns to the Olympic stage alongside her son.

“My mom has taught me everything I know about skiing,” Gaxiola shared. “Going to the Games with her is something very special for me, because I get to give back some of what she has taught me.”
