This weekend is not about sales, or celebrations.
It is about remembering the men and women who never made it home.

Some died on foreign soil.
Some died carrying burdens long after the war followed them home.
All of them paid a price most people will never fully understand.

Freedom has always come with a cost, and somewhere a family still carries that cost every single day.

To the fallen:
You are remembered.
You are honored.
You are not forgotten.

At 5:9 SHIELD GROUP and Project 5:9, we honor the warriors who stood the line, carried the weight, and laid down their lives for others.

May we never become so distracted by comfort that we forget the sacrifice that secured it.
