🫶🏼💗✨As of July first we will no longer be occupying the studio space.

For now, the plan is to take the months of July and August off from all in-person work regarding Sacred Beings.

In September, we will be downsizing our brick and mortar to focus on massage, working with women who are:

* Experiencing “infertility”
* Looking to heal abdominal and pelvic scarring
* Pregnant
* Postpartum

Beyond that, the Lord has been parting seas, moving mountains, and giving vision for Sacred Beings to continue to operate as a women’s ministry! I’m very eager to share all He’s been cultivating in the depths of our time together. But, it will come in His perfect timing, not my own.

Thank you to every woman who has shared this physical space with me. We’ve shared tears, laughs, hard conversations, big questions, and more healing power of the Holy Spirit than I ever believed possible—thank you Lord! (And when I say that I mean it. We have 5 miracle babies, a number of women no longer in pain, and deeper intimacy with the Lord than ever before! God is so faithful to His Word and His people.)

I hope you’ll all stay connected with us, one another, and most importantly the still small voice of the Holy Spirit.

With love,
Autumn

✨🧠I have a mind that likes to wander…

This activity has helped me keep my “eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith” (Hebrews‬ ‭12‬:‭2‬ ‭NLT‬‬).

💗✝️Relationship with God, like any other relationship, is a two-way street.

Yes, He pours out His forgiveness in overflowing abundance.
But we can only experience it through repentance.

Yes, His love is wider, higher, longer, and deeper than we can ever dream possible.
But we only experience its fullness by trusting in and seeking Him.

Yes, His peace surpasses all understanding.
But we only experience it when we tell God what we need and thank Him for all He has done.

Yes, He promises rest for the weary and heavily burdened.
But we must first go to Him and learn from Him.

Yes, He takes delight in us.
But we must first be purified.

This is not law, this is love.
And love requires your YES!

🤔🌸The poetic nature of the New Testament can often leave us wondering, "Okay, but how do I ACTUALLY do that?"

For example, "Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong" (Ephesians 3:17, NLT). This verse is poetic, beautiful, and full of healing imagery.

But do you feel yourself at a loss for understanding how to actually grow your roots into God's love? Our God is so kind that He gives us the answer to this question at the beginning of this verse.

Translations vary as far as the actual action, but the heart of the matter is consistent. Some translations will say, "trust in Him," while others say, "through faith." Either way, the heart of the matter remains the same:

Is He God or is He not?
Is He Sovereign or is He not?
Is He Lord above all lords or is He not?
Is He in control or is He not?
Is His timing perfect or is it not?
Do you believe what He says is true or don't you?

Our roots aren't thoroughly grounded in God's love by just checking "Jesus time" off our to-do list or by just making it to church every Sunday and a small group every Wednesday. Our roots are thoroughly grounded in God's love as we obey His command: "Be still, and know that I am God" (Psalm 46:10, NLT). Our roots grow down into Him as we TRUST Him by FAITH, not by sight.

👑

What's an area you've been trusting in yourself or your senses more than you've been trusting in our King, Jesus?

Take some time to bring this before the Lord and let Him transform you by the renewing of your mind—turn to His word!

✨🧠Take a moment to renew your mind this morning:

If you struggle to focus through this much scripture I want to encourage you to read it out loud.💗

“Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us. Because of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place of undeserved privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God’s glory.

“We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation. And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.

“When we were utterly helpless, Christ came at just the right time and died for us sinners. Now, most people would not be willing to die for an upright person, though someone might perhaps be willing to die for a person who is especially good. But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. And since we have been made right in God’s sight by the blood of Christ, he will certainly save us from God’s condemnation. For since our friendship with God was restored by the death of his Son while we were still his enemies, we will certainly be saved through the life of his Son. So now we can rejoice in our wonderful new relationship with God because our Lord Jesus Christ has made us friends of God.”

‭‭Romans‬ ‭5‬:‭1‬-‭11‬ ‭NLT‬‬

🙏🏼✨Prayer isn’t about polishing your words, thoughts, feelings, or situations so you can bring them before a Holy God.

It’s a place to be fully unraveled, exposed, and brutally honest with the Holy God who loves you more than you ever dreamed possible!

He’s not afraid of, offended by, or caught off guard by the sharpness of your tongue, depth of your emotions, or the chaos and brokenness of the situations that are spinning your mind in a loop.

He sees it all and knows it all already.

So lay your heart out before our Heavenly Father, that Holy God today!

Lay out the brokenness
Lay out the beauty

Bring Him the groans of your heart that don’t make any sense to you. They’ll make sense to Him and that’s what matters.

✝️🩸Recognizing your need for Jesus is the most important and humbling thing you can do.

Today, as I worshipped, I kept feeling a heaviness in my spirit I couldn't quite put into words. I felt desperate, hopeless.

Desperate for others to experience Salvation.
Desperate for the oil of His presence.
Desperate for more of Jesus and less of me.

So, by the Spirit, I prayed,

"Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life" (Psalm 139:23-24 NLT).

☀️

What happened in my spirit after that felt like being exposed, wide open, on an autopsy table.

Jesus showed me that I've been moving away from Him. It's been happening slowly, one movie choice, one moment of stillness filled with scrolling, and one careless thought at a time.

My breakthrough struck when I began declaring, in worship, my need for Jesus. Desperation turned to hope, and hope transformed the enemy's lies into the truth from Jesus.

In the light of truth, I began to realize I'd been trying to work out others' Salvation, the oil of His presence, and more of Him and less of myself in my own strength.

🦋

Through a humbling of my heart posture, things began to shift...

Desperation for others to experience Salvation, transformed into praying the truth of Scripture over them and believing God will keep His promises.

Desperation for the oil of His presence, transformed into recognizing that I was operating in pride and needed to "humble myself before God" (James 4:7 NLT) so He would come close to me.

Desperation for more of Jesus and less of me, transformed into shifting my eyes off myself and back onto my Treasure in heaven—Jesus.

💡

I went from desperate and hopeless to humble and encouraged!

The Holy Spirit pointed out the offence of pride and healed it with the balm of humility. God, in His kindness, showed me how empty I am without without the presence of Jesus.

💗

Cry out before God's throne just how much you you need Jesus.

I promise you'll be met with more love than you've ever dreamed of.

🌳✝️How do we do what Jesus does the same way trees do fruit?

In other words, “How do we walk in the depth of freedom Jesus bought for us at the cross instead of the shallow waters of simply being a better Christian?”

REPENTANCE

Repentance is an avenue that brings more of Jesus on earth as it is in heaven.

It’s an avenue by which we walk in abundance, and don’t just hold our new life in Christ “as an idea in our heads or sentiment in our hearts, but work out its implications in every detail of our lives” (Galatians 5:25 MSG).

💗

Cool, BUT WHAT IS REPENTANCE?

Strong’s Concordance gives this definition: “Repentance involves a turning with contrition from sin to God… to accept the divine forgiveness.”

OR

Repentance is feeling deeply broken over choosing obedience to the devil or yourself instead of choosing obedience to the Father. Then, from that broken place, you lay those feelings before the Father to receive, in fullness, the forgiveness poured over, in, and through you by the blood of Jesus.

🕍

You see, repentance was never designed to be this sterile church word that leaves us feeling confused and disconnected from our Heavenly Father.

It’s an invitation into the deep, beautiful love He so desperately wants us to receive. I mean, He sent His Son to die in our place so we might receive it. That’s no small act…

🍇

So here’s the encouragement:

When you feel correction from the Holy Spirit, will you shake the devil off your back, let condemnation take a hike, and receive in fullness the beauty of God’s correction?

There’s a garden full of the fruit of the Spirit on the other side of your repentance!

🙃🔥Today was a hard day mentally, accompanied by a lack of ambition to accomplish the things I knew were part of my Kingdom work.

They were simple things: dishes, laundry, preparing dinner before a late work-night.

I was battling an intense feeling of dread followed by the nagging thought, "I just don't want to."

🙏

Well, at some point, I was utterly fed up, and I started talking out loud with the Lord. With the help of His Holy Spirit, I realized I was fighting that battle in my own strength instead of His.

Part of Isaiah 30:19 flashed in my mind, "He will be gracious if you ask for help."

Did you catch that? IF you ask for help!

I snapped back, "I shouldn't have to ask!"

Que a heart-stilling, humbling silence from both of us (the Lord and me)...

Hello pride, arrogance, and a lack of humility... Where have you been hiding?🤢

I'm thankful that my heavenly Father loves me enough to call me on my crap–that He's not willing to leave me suffering in a pit of my own sin.

I'm thankful that I have an Ever-present Help in trouble.

I'm thankful my sin was exposed so that repentance and forgiveness could be received.

🦋

What's God pulling out of you these days?

How have you had to turn from yourself back to God?
