Your speaker only sounds as good as your pickup! Iā€™ve struggled for yearssss trying to find the best speaker/mic combo. Preamps, cables, speakers, mics, Iā€™ve went through them all! Iā€™ve tried so many different combinations in order to get the best one. The Roland mini, the Roland street cube, the Bose pro, and finally the Bose pro plus. Iā€™m not kidding when I say Iā€™ve tried allllll of them. šŸ˜‚

Having the Dusty strings pic up is worth every cent. It sounds amazing and is able to capture the range of the harp perfectly. Pair it with an extra boost (preamp) and itā€™s the āœØperfectāœØcombination.

Korg is the most accurate tuner. Donā€™t come at me you phone tuner people. Iā€™d rather use my ear than my phone šŸ˜‚

Manhasset is the best music stand ever. I use it in my home studio. It can hold the weight of multiple books of music AND the iPad at the same time.

I still canā€™t believe I see people playing at weddings using actual sheet music. šŸ¤Æ Iā€™ve been playing from my iPad for about 11 years now. Itā€™s life changing. Buy the iPad.

I often include ā€œBrain Breaksā€ during lessons with my younger students. I can notice when a child ā€œreaches capacityā€ for learning and paying attention. When this happens, we quickly move to something a little more engaging but still instructional of course!

They love this one! They donā€™t even realize they are learning. I got the idea from the game I used to play with my kids when they were little. As we know, memory, attention, focus, and the ability to recall is so important in music!

This game can be customized to fit your needs. In this case we are working on our note and rest values.

We also do some math while playing this game which is really helpful for those under 8.

I made these cards about 9 years ago and they are still holding up!

Allllllll the glisses allll the time! I love adding glissandi during the first kiss. It makes the moment even more magical!

My soundboard is my favorite detail of my Style 22. I knew it was hand painted and itā€™s truly a work of art!! I really wanted to add this detail to my style 23 but unfortunately it was out of the budget. šŸ˜±šŸ«£šŸ˜µā€šŸ’«

Less than ONE week until our student recital! Between concerts, lessons, writing solos, writing two ensembles, performances, emails, contracts, quotes, my brain is starting to feel scrambled. Add that to MOM life with my kidsā€™ performances, rehearsalsā€¦. I am ready for a vacation!!

Grateful to my husband and family for their patience and for holding the fort down while Iā€™m busy with work!
