In just 23 months, this smile transformation is complete! This patient came to Dr. Saito with significant crowding and a deep overbite. Treatment included a Carrière appliance to correct the bite relationship and extractions to create the space needed for alignment. By carefully coordinating tooth movement and bite correction, we achieved a balanced occlusion, improved function, and a well-aligned smile. ✨

This case is a great example of how creative orthodontic planning can make implants possible…even when there isn’t enough bone at first!

Using traditional braces, we slowly pulled down the patient’s natural tooth to stimulate bone growth in the area. Once enough bone was present, we extracted the tooth and placed the implant right where it needed to be. Orthodontics isn’t just about straightening, it’s about laying the foundation for long-term oral health!
