Menopause can put a screeching halt on your metabolism. Weight gain is common during menopause, with women gaining an average of one pound per year during the menopausal transition. However, 20% of women gain 10 pounds or more during this time.
Hormonal changes: The decrease in estrogen and progesterone during menopause can trigger metabolic changes in the body, such as a decrease in muscle mass. This can slow down the rate at which the body uses calories, resulting in fat accumulation. Hormonal changes can also make it more likely that women will gain weight around the abdomen, rather than the hips and thighs.
Even though my beautiful client works out and takes great care of herself she needed an extra boost and I couldn’t be HAPPIER to help her get over her hump. Look how much we lifted her belly button! We are about half way through her 9 pack of treatments. I love a good half way point photo.
If you have been struggling getting over your hump, DM me! Body contouring is noninvasive, holistic, lymphatic drain and natural contouring. It’s helping so many people. I’d love to help you too! ❤️
