Your body remembers what your mind tries to forget.

If you've struggled with chronic back pain, neck pain, pelvic pain, tension, headaches, or unexplained symptoms, the problem may not be just physical.

The body keeps score.

Stress. Childhood trauma. Toxic relationships. Grief. Shame. Fear. These experiences can become stored patterns within the nervous system, keeping your body stuck in a cycle of protection instead of healing.

This doesn't mean your pain is "all in your head."

It means your body may still be carrying burdens it was never taught how to release.

That's why true healing requires more than exercises, stretches, or medications. We must address the physical, emotional, and nervous system factors that influence pain and recovery.

When the body finally feels safe, healing can begin.

If this resonates with you and you're tired of treating symptoms without finding answers, type READY in the comments below.

33 days ago… I went silent on FB.
Not because I had nothing to say—
but because I finally saw everything.
And once you see it…
you can’t go back.
This was my dinner last night.
Salmon.
I made it myself.
I sat with it.
And I ate it… alone.
On purpose.
No sharing.
No over-giving.
No extending myself past my own capacity.
Because I’ve spent a lifetime giving more than I’ve ever received.
And I'm not interested in living like that anymore.
I won’t.
If you know anything about salmon…
you know they swim upstream.
Against pressure.
Against force.
Against currents that are literally trying to take them out.
That’s where I’ve been.
Upstream.
And what I found there…
was truth.
Not everyone who looks supportive… is.
Not everyone who speaks light… carries it.
Some people know exactly how to wear it
without ever being it.
And that realization…
changes you.
So I changed.
I stopped explaining.
I stopped overextending.
I stopped giving access to people
who never honored what I was giving.
Because what I’ve walked through…
most people wouldn’t have survived.
And yet—
I’m still here.
Still standing.
Still protected.
Still rising.
Not broken.
Not bitter.
Clear.
The picture in the background…
that’s my mom and dad.
They’re gone—
but they’re still guiding me.
They raised me with their light ON.
They showed me how to turn mine on—on demand.
That’s why nothing took me out.
That’s why I’m still here.
That’s why my family is still here.
So if you’ve been wondering where I’ve been…
I’ve been choosing myself.
Without guilt.
Without explanation.
Without permission.
In this time of separation I learned that the only person I can really trust 100% is myself. Because that's true, I had proof that the only thing that really matters is my relationship with God and we are solid.
And moving forward—
not everyone gets a seat at my table.
Some journeys…
are meant to be walked
with God alone.

Know what a YES feels like in your body.

A NO feels nothing like a YES.

A couple of years ago, I watched someone lying in bed go through severe shock.

The trauma response was real. Their body was shaking uncontrollably, almost seizure-like, but it wasn’t a seizure. It was primal shaking, the kind even animals can experience after severe trauma.

I checked respiration rate, oxygen levels, and blood pressure. The vitals were out of range. He was diaphoretic.

Different person. Different situation.
I had seen something similar before, and in that case it was an immediate emergency.
Being awake and aware at 2 a.m., I made the call: the emergency room was next.

But this time, the shaking was different.

I knew the emergency room was not the answer.

This person was clearly in shock. Dissociated. Out of body. Responsive, but on autopilot. Experiencing a threat that felt completely real.

FEAR:
False Evidence Appearing Real.

This was the FREEZE response.

I had only ever seen this 1x and it looked very different than this.

The person was clearly FROZEN, unable to make sense of what was happening.

When your brain believes the threat is real, your body responds as if it is real, even when no actual danger is present.

PLACEBO feels real and creates real physiological responses in the body.

Some people can trigger you back into places that once felt threatening. Those places can feel so real that your body begins to shut down.

Dissociation is a survival response.

A person can experience complete amnesia around what is happening. They may be moving, speaking, functioning with their eyes wide open, yet have no real awareness of what they are doing. Completely on autopilot. Moving like a puppet.

And in that state, a person is deeply vulnerable.

Know what NO feels like in your body.

What I just described really happened. And it could have been avoided.

Establish strong YESES and strong NOs. Practice them regularly, so when the moment comes, your body already knows the truth.

No means NO.
Stop means STOP.
Yes means YES.

Know the difference.
Practice daily.
