📝 Your Weekend Homework Assignment 📝
Think about someone who makes our community better.
Maybe it's a volunteer?
Maybe it's a caregiver?
Maybe it's a community leader?
Maybe it's a nonprofit organization?
And maybe it's simply someone who consistently shows up and makes a difference in the lives of seniors and their families...
Now go nominate them for a Senior Heroes Award.

And here's the important part: If you're not sure whether they're "worthy" enough, nominate them anyway.
Let the judges decide.
Every year SHA hears things like:
"I don't know if they're qualified."
"They probably won't win."
"Someone else will nominate them."
Please don't make that assumption. Some of the most deserving people and organizations in our community never receive recognition simply because nobody took the time to tell their story.
If someone immediately comes to mind when you think about service, compassion, volunteerism, or community impact, that's probably a pretty good sign. Take a few minutes this weekend. Submit the nomination. Tell their story.
