We are bringing back Reiki Share

and Reiki classes

We have found our groove at our new office for Rose Rock Bodywork, and one of the glorious side effects is having the space and time for our Reiki offerings.

October we will be hosting a Reiki Share and a Reiki 1 class, and we would love to have you join us!

Thank you for including us in your regular self-care. We are grateful to be with you on the journey!

Best wishes,

Jessica and Stacy

Hearing the bell,
I am able to let go of all afflictions.
My heart is calm,
my sorrows ended.
I am no longer bound to anything.
I learn to listen to my suffering
and the suffering of the other person.
When understanding is born in me,
compassion is also born.

"Every day there are ways in which we get caught in attachments, and so we continue to suffer. If only we could learn the art of releasing, happiness would come right away. Our worries and concerns prevent us from getting in touch with the wonders of life. We have all had the experience of being reminded of what is most important to us. Sometimes we are reminded by a friend or a teacher. Sometimes it may be the sound of the bell, bringing us back to ourselves in the present moment, enabling us to see the situation more clearly. Then we can let go of our worry, craving, or concern, so we can be free to encounter the wonders of life that are always there in the here and the now."

-Thich Nhat Hanh (Present Moment Wonderful Moment)

Rose Rock Bodywork is growing!

We are excited to introduce Mary-Jane to our RRB family! I couldn’t be more excited to have another fabulous massage therapist join us 🤩.

Here is some background directly from Mary-Jane:

For as long as I can remember, I have been massaging aching muscles. After finding out her and I have Ehler's Danlos Syndrome, I dropped out of college and pursued massage therapy to help those in pain like we were. Throughout schooling I was able to practice dozens of different modalities and came to learn exactly how I had been easing my mother's pain growing up. Now, I specialize in deep tissue & treatment and emotional release to help every person feel comfortable in their body, whether the discomfort comes from a disability, trauma, or just not feeling at home in their skin.

Mary-Jane will be in the office Fridays and Sundays starting in September. As a Welcome to the Team special, Mary-Jane is offering 30-minute extensions through September, meaning you get a 90-minute session for the regular 60-minute session rate. Huzzah!

The link below will take you directly to scheduling a 90-minute session with Mary-Jane. Use the code 30MINEXT in the Appointment notes to get the discount rate.

Thank you so much for letting us be a part of your self-care. It is an honor, and we are grateful for each of you!

Best wishes,

Jessica, Stacy, and Mary-Jane

Rose Rock Bodywork is

getting a new home!

We are moving our office the first week of July 2026.

Our new address is 12000 SE Mill Plain, Suite 5, Vancouver, WA 98607. It is an office building on the corner of 120th and Mill Plain. Here's what it looks like!

Why are we moving?
Jessica‘s son is aging out of childcare this summer, so we are moving into our own space so she can bring him to the office in the evenings and on those random days off school. Also, Stacy and Jessica are both looking forward to having all of our stuff have a permanent place in our own rooms. Yay! Plus, it will allow us to bring on one more massage therapist soon to work weekends.

We will be having an Open House!
We are making plans for an open house, probably sometime in August. So stay tuned for that announcement!

Thank you all for being such a wonderful part of our lives! We are grateful to be a part of your healthcare team.

We are grateful for you!

Many of you have probably heard Stacy and Jessica gush over how much we love our work, and a huge part of that is getting to spend time with each of you. Thank you so much for letting us be a part of your healthcare team!

Much love and appreciation,

Jessica and Stacy

We have new openings in December

and January.

If you are hoping to get one more massage in before the end of the year, we have you covered! Stacy has openings on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve! Plus, she is adding extra days to her regular schedule starting in January.

And as always, if you don't see a day or time available that you want, remember to put your name on the waitlist. This time of year, we often get last minute appointment shifts when clients get sick or have spontaneous family and work holiday events. It's a lovely surprise when a spot opens up for you!

Rose Rock News

Happy August! It is with grateful hearts that we wish Catherine Chaisson farewell, as August 1st is her last day with Rose Rock Bodywork. Catherine has moved to Woodburn, Oregon, and she will be continuing to practice massage in Portland and Canby. And we will most certainly miss her wonderful skills and energy around the office!

We have done our best to move over any regularly scheduled appointments for Catherine to either Jessica or Stacy, so hopefully we have helped transition everyone smoothly.

Jessica and Stacy do have openings throughout August, even with trips and Back to School coming up.

Thank you for trusting us to be part of your healthcare team! We are so glad to get to work with you all.

Best wishes,

Rose Rock Bodywork team

Have you been in a car accident?

We have noted an increase in car accidents for our clients since the weather has turned sunny. If you do find yourself in a car accident, massage therapy can be a helpful addition to dealing with the side effects. We are able to bill your insurance and work with your attorney so you can focus on healing and feeling your best!
