Mission Possible Employment Services

Mission Possible Employment Services Advocate for Disability Benefits and registered Employment Network with SSA's Ticket to Work Program Our success rate has averaged 94% over the last 5 years.

Mission Possible Employment Services began as a vocational placement agency, helping people with disabilities to find appropriate employment. Even though we had much success in this endeavor, we quickly realized that employment was not the answer for everyone. We found that many of our clients were unable to manage a full-time position due to deteriorating health issues. For that reason, we began

the Social Security Advocacy branch of Mission Possible to assist those in applying for disability insurance who were no longer able to work. The process can be daunting and often intimidating to those who are already struggling with one or more disabilities. We began walking our clients through the process, surprisingly finding success in nearly all of our cases. For those who have already been awarded disability benefits, we offer the SSA's Ticket to Work Program. This is for those whose disability has stabilized or improved to the point that they want to improve their quality of life by going back to work. The program includes a number of Work Incentives that allow you to keep your cash benefits for a time while you have regular paychecks coming in. We assist with benefits counseling, preparation for going back to work, monitoring progress and support throughout the duration of the program. Message, call or email us with questions or interest in our services. We are here for you!

💙 HELLO, SEPTEMBER!

A new month doesn’t mean you need a brand-new life plan.

Sometimes it just means choosing one next step.

Maybe that step is updating your résumé.

Maybe it’s exploring a type of work you’ve never considered before.

Maybe it’s asking how employment could affect your Social Security disability benefits.

Or maybe today is simply the day you decide you’re ready to start thinking about work again.

Whatever your next step looks like, it counts.

At Mission Possible Employment Services, we help eligible Social Security disability beneficiaries explore employment through the Ticket to Work program and build a path toward greater financial independence.

You don’t have to figure out the entire journey today.

Start with one step. Then build from there. 💙

💙 MYTH BUSTER MONDAY 💙

❌ MYTH: “Ticket to Work will find a job for me and tell me where I have to work.”

✅ TRUTH: You stay in control of your employment goals.

Ticket to Work isn’t about someone choosing your job or deciding what your future should look like. You make the choices.

If you’re eligible for the Ticket to Work program, you can choose an Employment Network that fits your needs and work together to develop an employment plan based on your goals, abilities, interests, and circumstances.

That might mean exploring a completely new career, returning to something you’ve done before, building new skills, or figuring out what type of work makes sense for your life today.

At Mission Possible Employment Services, our job isn’t to tell you what you have to do. It’s to provide support, resources, guidance, and information as you decide where you want to go.

💙 You set the goals. You make the choices. We help you get there.

Ready to explore what’s possible?

💙 FEEL GOOD FRIDAY 💙

Your future is still unwritten.

It’s easy to look at where you are today and feel like you should be further along. But life doesn’t follow a perfect timeline—and neither does progress.

Every choice you make, every new thing you try, and every step you take toward the life you want counts.

You don’t have to have everything figured out.
You don’t have to move at anyone else’s pace.
And you definitely don’t have to be perfect.

Sometimes progress is taking a big leap.
Sometimes it’s taking one tiny step.
And sometimes it’s simply deciding not to give up today. 💙

So as you head into the weekend, give yourself some credit for how far you’ve come—and remember there are still so many possibilities ahead.

✨ Every step forward is progress, no matter how small.

Believe in yourself. We believe in you.

Have a wonderful weekend! 💙

💙 SUCCESS SPOTLIGHT THURSDAY 💙

Sometimes returning to work isn’t about going back to the life you had before—it’s about finding work that fits the life you have now.

After being out of the workforce for several years, Jessica wasn’t sure what returning to work would look like for her. She knew she wanted more independence and purpose, but she also needed a job that matched her skills, energy, and goals.

With support from Mission Possible Employment Services, Jessica explored different employment options, identified what she needed from a job, and took things one step at a time.

And she found her fit. 💙

Today, Jessica is working in a flexible position she enjoys—building confidence, earning income, and creating a routine that works for her life.

Success doesn’t have to look the same for everyone.

Sometimes success is finding the right job.
Sometimes it’s starting with fewer hours.
Sometimes it’s simply realizing, “I can do this.”

At Mission Possible, we believe employment should be about finding what works for you.

✨ Your success story could be next.

Q: “Do I need to know exactly what kind of job I want before I contact MPES?”

A: No—you don’t!

You don’t have to have your entire future mapped out before reaching out for help. In fact, figuring out what kind of work might be a good fit for you can be part of the process.

Maybe you haven’t worked in years. Maybe your disability means the job you used to do no longer works for you. Or maybe you simply know you’re ready for something different—but you’re not sure what that “something” is yet.

That’s okay. 💙

At Mission Possible Employment Services, we can help you:

✨ Identify your strengths, skills, and interests
✨ Explore different career possibilities
✨ Think about what you need from a job
✨ Build confidence as you prepare to return to work
✨ Create an employment plan based on your goals

You don’t need all the answers before you call us.

Sometimes the first step is simply saying, “I think I’m ready to explore what’s possible.”

💙 DID YOU KNOW TUESDAY? 💙

Did you know that some disability-related expenses you pay because your work may be deducted from your earnings when Social Security determines your countable earnings?

These are called Impairment-Related Work Expenses (IRWE), and they can be an important work incentive for some people receiving Social Security disability benefits.

An expense may qualify when you need the item or service because of your disability and in order to work, you pay for it yourself, and you aren’t reimbursed by another source.

Depending on your individual situation, qualifying expenses might include certain medical devices, medications, attendant-care services, specialized transportation, or other disability-related items and services you need for work.

Why does this matter? 💡

An approved IRWE can reduce the amount of earnings Social Security counts when making certain decisions about your benefits. That means knowing which expenses may qualify—and keeping your receipts and documentation—can be very important.

At Mission Possible Employment Services, we can help you understand work incentives like IRWE and how the rules may apply to your individual situation.

💙 More information. More choices. More possibilities.

💙 MYTH BUSTER MONDAY 💙

MYTH: “I have a part-time job, so I don’t qualify for Social Security disability benefits.”

TRUTH: Working part-time does not automatically mean you’re ineligible for disability benefits.

Social Security looks at more than whether you have a job. Your earnings, the type of disability benefit you receive, your medical condition, and your ability to work can all play a role.

And if you’re already receiving Social Security disability benefits, there are work incentives and protections that may help you explore employment while managing your benefits.

That’s why it’s so important to understand the rules that apply to your individual situation instead of assuming that earning a paycheck automatically means you can’t receive benefits.

At Mission Possible Employment Services, we can help you understand your options, learn how work may affect your benefits, and move forward with more confidence.

💙 Get the facts. Know your options. Explore what’s possible.

💙 FEEL GOOD FRIDAY 💙

You have more strength than you think.

Think about everything you’ve already made it through—the challenges you’ve faced, the days you kept going when it would have been easier to give up, and every small step you’ve taken along the way.

Sometimes progress doesn’t look like a giant leap. Sometimes it’s simply deciding to try again, asking for help, learning something new, or believing that something better might still be ahead.

Give yourself credit for how far you’ve come. 💙

Your past doesn’t determine what comes next, and you don’t have to have everything figured out today.

✨ A better tomorrow starts with hope today.

Keep going. Your future is still full of possibilities.

💙 SUCCESS SPOTLIGHT THURSDAY 💙

Sometimes the hardest part of returning to work is simply believing it’s possible.

After facing challenges that made working feel out of reach, Michael decided to explore his options. With support through the Ticket to Work program, he was able to identify his strengths, build confidence, and find part-time work that fit his goals and schedule.

Today, he’s earning income, gaining independence, and feeling proud of the progress he’s made. 💙

Success doesn’t have to mean jumping straight into a full-time job. Sometimes it starts with one step, a few hours, and the right support.

At Mission Possible Employment Services, we help Social Security disability beneficiaries explore what working could look like for them.

✨ One step can change everything. Your story could be next.
