Check out these asymmetrical cataracts in a 60-year-old male! 👀

Cataracts themselves are very common at this age, but seeing such a noticeable difference between the two eyes is less common. Cataracts usually develop gradually and somewhat similarly in both eyes, so significant asymmetry like this can make for an interesting case.

Today, we saw a patient come in with eye pain after getting yard debris stuck in his eye while working outside. It only takes a split second for grass, dirt, wood chips, or small rocks to cause a painful injury.
