A huge thank you to everyone that came out for our fundraiser last week! All funds went towards Vodnik’s medical bills and surgery, and we got the good news that he is going to be adopted by one of the staff at the hospital so will get the care he needs 🥰

From July 11 through July 16, we’re offering pet-themed tattoo specials to help raise money for our little kitten, Vodnik, who needs life saving surgery for PRAA. 100% of the proceeds from these fundraiser tattoos will go directly toward his surgery.

Many of you have fallen in love with this little guy at the shop over the past few weeks. Vodnik was born with a condition called a persistent right aortic arch (PRAA), where a blood vessel forms incorrectly and traps his esophagus, making it difficult for food to pass into his stomach. Without surgery, he won’t be able to live a normal, healthy life. Unfortunately his insurance denied him over a 4 day discrepancy with his age and first diagnosis 😞 His surgery is estimated to cost at least $8,000 after a generous discount by his amazing surgeon. Every dollar raised will go directly toward his care at VCA Animal Hospital in West Los Angeles. To help get him the treatment he needs, we’re hosting a fundraiser at Cryptic Curations on Friday, July 3rd, with buy one piercing, get one free (jewelry sold separately). If you’re not local but would still like to help, donations through Venmo are deeply appreciated. Thank you for supporting this sweet little boy and giving him the chance to grow up healthy!

When policies strip our rights, endanger marginalized people, and normalize cruelty, we refuse to operate as if this is acceptable.
